Bush Business Furniture Saratoga Executive Desk with Drawers, Harvest Cherry

This desk is large size and was a perfect fit for my spot. Once assembled very sturdy with lots of drawers and a functional middle drawer, it took about three hours to assemble, and the directions were very detailed in all steps I work from home on a daily basis, and this will provide an excellent place to work for some time to come.

Really great desk for a really great price. Assembly can be tedious, but if you take your time with it (i split over two days, but should be able to complete in 5-7 hours depending on experience), you will find a magnificent looking, functional power desk. I love it!

Expect several hours to put this together.....I grew up building model cars and planes so this was right up my alley ( I didn't ask for help from the wife or kids )Has a great look to it, heavy but still it is glued together wood shavings (partical board). I don't expect to move it so no worries. I am 6'2" so I was worried about the height, I fit!!! Even with my chair up high enough I don't have to fold my leggs to get under it. Plenty of room on the top and the black top is great accent to the wood ( I guess I should say wood color, no wood involved)I was missing 3 parts and one part was broke. Package was not damaged w/ I received it so it happened in the factory. The parts were for two drawers, so I was able to put most of it together on a Saturday, then wait for Monday to call Bush to get the replacement parts. FedEx says the shipment will be here 5 days later...Funny, while typing this, FedEx showed up with the parts.....very well packaged and doubled the parts I ordered?!?..The desk does have heavy 3-part metal actions for the file drawers, cheaper ones for the small drawers.The one thing I would change on this: Add a hole for the electrical cords, I have went to Lowes and bought a plastic insert w/ cap for the top and near the bottom to run power cords so they aren't hanging over the side.Also got the lateral file w/ hutch and two book shelves and they match perfect, only 2 1/2 days of putting it all together (with the wife helping on the bookshelves)

It looks nice but that's it. December 12th we paid Amazon to have someone professionally assemble the desk. When I ordered the desk it said it was "wood" - not pressed board; not fabricated wood; not manufactured wood - just "wood". I was a little disturbed when it arrived and I saw that it was in fact pressed board. Well, the Director was on vacation and returned just after the beginning of the year. She put a few items in the drawer (see photo 2). Last week, after using it for just over 1 week - the front of the drawer came off. This is the exact same thing that happened - with the exact same drawer - as the desk we replaced. I now know that it was the same manufacturer. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DESK IF YOU WANT SOMETHING DURABLE!

I ordered this desk after MUCH shopping for my home office since I'm working from home much longer than I'd expected (COVID-19). My dining room table would no longer do! This desk took me a week (I'm a 65 yr old woman) to put together but I was able to do most of it by myself. (I did use a power screwdriver that had adjustable tork on a few of the screws). The instructions are very clear and all the pieces were well constructed and fit together well. I now have the best desk I've ever had. It is exactly what I wanted and more.

After using this desk for three years I am satisfied with it for the price I paid. It has stayed in good condition even after one move. The exception is the trim around the desk top, it appears to be some kind of contact paper that is lifting along the front edge that comes in contact with your body from time to time as you move in and out in your chair. The company was also good to work with when the shipping company damaged the top they ended up sending me two complete tops with no questions asked. I would buy it again if I needed a good looking desk for a great price that would last me five or six years.

Looks great when assembled. However took 5-7 hours hours to assemble. Also, seems fragile to move. Recommend assembling on the same place where you plan to use the desk
