Depending on what you want to use these for, they are a good value for the price. The books are sewn rather than stapled. However, I wish the paper was a little thicker because I bought them for drawing and sketching. Marker bleeds through. They definitely would not hold up to watercolor. That said, pencil drawings blend well on the smooth paper.

I liked that they are light weight. I highlight sometimes with sharpie highlighters and they do show on the other side of the page but they don't bleed onto the next sheet. I use mine for note writing and I do intend on buying more eventually when I fill more notebooks up. The cardboard isn't that thick but it's okay

My friend is an art teacher and she recommend these to me for a workshop - they were great! Affordable, light and high quality, we used them for a mandala drawing class and the participants loved them. Even though they are light the paper is plenty thick so your art doesn't bleed through from one side to another.

These journals are just what I was looking for. I print on the covers and they are just what I had expected.
