Detroit Axle - RWD Front End 10pc Suspension Kit for 99-06 Silverado Sierra 1500 Chevy GMC, 2 Upper Control Arms 2 Lower Ball Joints 4 Outer & Inner Tie Rods 2 Sway Bars Replacement

I ordered these for my 1999 5.3 Silverado, and had no problems at all getting it to fit. All parts are well finished, and well packed. It actually came with more parts than I needed, so I have a handful of spares lying around. All parts also seem ambidextrous, so that helps with install.P.S. The top ball joint does not have a grease insert.

Installed this kit on my 2wd Silverado. No lift, in my garage in a night. New parts all went on relatively easily. No major hangups or misfitting parts. Upper arms slid right in. No need to even persuade them like I expected. Bottom ball joints had to be tapped lightly into their spot but wasn't much of anything at all go accomplish. The only difficulty in doing this job was getting the factory ball joint rivets out of the control arm. That took some major hammer time and broke a few drill bits as well. That has nothing to do with this kit though and does not reflect on it's quality. It is how we a heads up to someone about to do this job themselves. That part is a pain and isn't easy always. One other thing. The bolt for the sway bar end links are looooonnngggg. I ended up taking about an inch off mine when I was done to get rid of some of the excessive long bolt sticking past where the stock one would have. Not an issue. Just a quick snip with the grinder. Removal took 8 hrs. Installation took 1 hour. Good kit. Riding well , no complaints on the ride quality. Been about 4,000 miles so I can't speak on it's longevity yet. Good luck , happy wrenching!

The parts for this project all fit as they should and quality appears to be good. Saved a significant amount of $ over local parts sources for similar quality.

Bought and installed June 2020, initially I thought was a great deal as the set was a 1/4 of the price vs buying the parts individually from the box store. NEVER AGAIN!! (for front end parts anyways) 😂 but by June of 2022 the lower ball joint snapped and caused a real headache and lots of damage. Everything was lubed and greased regularly and for having a life time warranty and not even lasting 2 full years is frustrating also customer service is a joke never returned emails or acknowledged my comments regarding their product. I was so disappointed in the faulty equipment I bought new ac delco parts from autozone and redone driver and passenger upper control arms, lower ball joints, inner and outter tie rods and ends just too be save.Bottom line 0/5 would not recommend

I have replaced upper, lower and tie rod. This package is a really good deal. I will review durability if I need to change them out. So far so good for now.

I got everything that was advertised and good quality parts for my 2002 chevy Silverado

Seem like good quality parts but reason for 3 stars is one of the tie rod ends we’re missing the cotter pin and grease fitting so now I have to run to autozone to buy those things. Just irritating.

One item in the package did not fit our model truck as it indicated, so we worked with Detroit Axle through Amazon, and they gladly replaced the part with the proper one. They communicated with us and offered any assistance.
