Kaufman Cozy Cotton Flannel Stars Aqua, Fabric by the Yard

a yard is 36" x 54" and normally you get a generous cut, after receiving my fabric I thought maybe I had been sent or possibly ordered half a yard. I checked order and noticed this company lists a yard as 36" x 44", still my yard seemed small, it measures 36 & 1/2" x 40". the fabric was $12.44 plus tax, and this is not premium fabric ,but the price is certainly a premium for what you get. check out Shannon fabrics and Hug-z fabrics.

This is a nice, soft, heavy flannel. Initially I thought I would order additional yardage. However this fabric is not 44 inches wide as described rather it is 40 inches wide. I ordered 3 yards and my yardage was short by 2 inches. This plus the loss in width is significant. I'm hoping I have enough fabric to finish my project. Very disappointed.

Another fabric I used to make burp cloths. So soft and washed well. Good quality flannel!

Wrapped a 48" x 16" plywood panel with this fabric and attached 10" wooden letters to make a wall hanging with our grandson's name. It looks great!

Used this to make a draft stopper, perfect size (1 yard) for the project.
