A very good quality bar end bike mirror. No vibration when riding and it is easy to position. Very good rear viewing with convex mirror offering birds eye view of traffic.

I bought this after starting to cycle again and not confident to turn my head to see what traffic was behind me. This mirror has transformed that. It's very easy to fit on the end of the handle bars, and easy to twist to the correct position to see behind. I like that it folds under the handle bar when you store the bike away so it doesn't get knocked. I have found it very stable so it is easy to see the cars behind. I would highly recommend it for cyclists like me who are nervous in traffic. It really helps to know what is behind you.

Improved design looks like it will last better. Overall very good product. This is a replacement and the improvements are very welcome. However, I bought one with a stainless steel mirror this time, the previous glass mirror was very good and practically unbreakable. The stainless steel mirror appears well made but just does not have the clarity of a quality glass mirror. It works well nonetheless. Time will tell whether stainless steel turns out to be a lasting solution. We’ll see.

Another day I was crossing Catford Bridge in London, a curved bridge, and this huge lorry passed by me; I could feel the wind coming from the big wheels. One little mistake and I would fall under the lorry. I immediately thought that if I had seen that lorry in advance, I wouldn't try to cross the bridge along with it. So I purchased this mirror, and I can say it's fantastic. The stainless steel mirror gives a beautiful and clear view. I also bought two other popular mirrors. The Corky Urban Mirror is lovely, but it's too tiny, and vehicles seem far away when they are very close; I didn't like that. I also purchased the Peddler Take a Look Compact Mirror which you can use on your glasses or helmet, but because my vision has been failing to see things close, this mirror didn't work for me, but it's an excellent mirror if you have good vision or use prescription glasses. I'm so happy with this Hafny Bar End Bike Mirror! Thank you for creating this superb product.

I've just started cycling at a 'mature' age and haven't yet developed that balance to be able to fully look over my shoulder in traffic so this is a great help. It's easy to fit and includes sleeve for larger diameter handlebars. I have drop bars and this fit nicely on the end with the mirror twisted out to the side. The mirror is clear and gives a good view of approaching traffic. I feel much happier and more confident having it.

I previously bought a rear view mirror that clamped onto the handle bar (I won't name the product!) - it rattle and vibrated so much it was impossible to see what was behind me. Hence, I bought this Hafny having read all the recommendation. There's no vibrations (even when riding on a rough track) and a clear image. Check the inner diameter of your handle bars to ensure you order the correct size. I've used the same mirror on my Volt Metro LS and Engwe L20SE with good results on both. You know the saying "Buy cheap, buy twice" - wish I'd remembered this and bought the Hafny first! Highly recommended.

This mirror fits perfectly into drop handlebar ends and provides a great field of view thanks to it being convex and reasonable diameter. I did use some flat rubber to make the fit more secure. When it comes to fixing the mirror to the handle bar attachment do not over tighten the clamp that holds the thin stalk on the mirror as it looks like it will easily snap if knocked (it's poorly designed and far to thin and should really be reinforced with metal or just thicker); tighten so that it just grips the stalk providing a bit of resistance while allowing a small amount of adjustment as this will minimise the risk of breakage while still preventing annoying vibration of the image when on the move. The only disappointment is the reflective surface that is so easily scratched. Do not be tempted to wipe with a finger or back of a glove as it will scratch, even using a clean tissue left a feint spiral. While the mirror is relatively new this does not impact on the image quality but I imagine in a couple of months it's likely to be an issue...not great as this isn't a cheap mirror and I wish I'd gone for the HD glass version.

After reading some critical reviews, I decided to give this product a chance and am glad I did. Here are my observations and comments. It is a sturdy mirror that is very useful for checking for cars or faster cyclists catching up on you. I got a larger size one and it has a wide enough angle of view eliminating the need to turn and twist your neck trying to catch an image. Compared to the third-eye helmet mounted one that I used before it is a huge improvement. Just a quick snap glance gives you the info you need. The quality of the mirror is adequate for the job. Close examination clearly shows that it is not a high-quality surface mirror. But then again it is not designed for astronomy research or close shaving. It does show large objects approaching from behind and that is it. The mirror is slightly convex which does distort the image somewhat. On the upside the curvature also increases the field of view. I am not sure how much it actually helps but does not hurt much either. The mount is very sturdy. I was concerned about annoyingly shaky images caused by mirror vibrations, but it is not a problem at all. The image is easy to read and that is all that matters to me. Installation was easy but did require a 5 mm Allen wrench with is not included. I ended up rotating the insert 180 degrees compared to the recommended picture (drop down offset) because that way on my mountain bike the mirror was partially obstructed by left forearm. Now the mirror sits about an inch or so above the handlebar and it solved the problem. I suspect reviewers who had the mirror break off just over-tightened the screw. If your bike does not have to be put in a rack or loaded into a vehicle then tightening the screw to immobilize the mirror is probably okay. But if the bike needs to be handled, it is safer to play with the screw to make the screw tight enough to securely hold the mirror for the ride, yet light enough to allow the mirror to be movable by hand so that it can be swung safely in for loading and unloading. Semi-tight adjustment also allow tweaking the mirror angle to your liking while riding. Other reviewer already suggest it as well. One improvement a manufacturer or an end-user could consider: replacing the inner hex screw with an M6-25 butterfly or wing screw allows adjusting the joint by hand while on the road and eliminates the need to carry an Allen wrench with you. Overall, it is a very useful product and a good value. So much so that I just ordered a second one for another bike.
