Before using this clipper for the first time, charge for 90 minutes. Firstly ensure the product is switched off. Firmly connect the charging adapter of the power cord to the clipper and then plug in at the mains. The display screen on the Clipper will light up to show that it is charging. When the unit is switched on and is fully charged the clipper can be used for up to 60 minutes in cordless mode. To switch the product on, press the power button on the appliance. To turn it off repeat this process. IMPORTANT - To maximise battery life, avoid using on the mains. Fine Adjustment levels To use the fine adjustment simply twist the rotating wheel on the unit to the adjustment level required. How to Use the Comb Adjustment To use the comb attachment set the fine adjustment rotating wheel to 0.8mm. Make sure the clipper is turned off before attaching or removing the combs. Attach the comb by sliding it on to blade. Adjust to the required length by sliding the comb up and down the blade. To remove the comb use your thumbs to slide the comb up off the blade. Special attention when charging Even though the clipper may not be used for an extended period, charge every six months to preserve battery life. Do not charge if the temperature is lower than 0°C or higher than 40°C. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: Use the appropriate comb attachment for the desired length and begin cutting at the base of the neck, making sure that the blade is pointing upwards. Lift the clipper slowly, trimming a small a at a time, working upwards, across the neck line. Next cut the hair at the back of the head, again using the comb attachment for the desired length and making sure the blade is pointing upwards. Then trim the sideburns with one of the smaller comb attachments, and progress to cutting the hair on top of the head using a larger comb attachment Using the largest comb attachment cut the hair on the top of the head starting from the back of the head. Cut the hair in the site direction to the growth of the hair. Finally use the clipper without a comb attachment to finish off the hair cut by trimming around the bottom and sides of the neck.
