I had the same light fixture for 7 years (homedepot) until I hit and broke it. It worked nicely without any problem at all.Instead of going to homedepot I ordered the same one from amazon ( almost same price being little less here at amazon). It arrived in a nice package without any sign or wear. As you can see in the images I directly installed it on the same place where the old one used to be in my office. The only change I did was to use philips Alto bulb from the old fixture which was surprisingly working. The bulb that comes with the fixture is 3000K, soft white which is not that good for office. But it will be definitely fine for under cabinet usage. It also has a nice slim design with a white finish on plastic material. It does not look like the best fixture but it also doesn’t look cheap. It is at an OK level. A turn on/off switch is right below the fixture and is very convenient.Based on the price, it one of good products in the market which last for a good time without heating or causing any problems.I also plan to use 2 in parallel in the kitchen.Very satisfied so far.Recommended for those looking for cost effective solution.

Functional and useful.

Super easy to install and very bright. Unlike my ex husband, who was fairly simple to install, but not terribly bright.

Install would have been simple, if I were stronger. Difficult to remove the bulb for install. And yes, the bulb MUST be removed to screw it into the under cabinet, unless you have a really good two sided tape. I didn't. Expensive for what it is. I would buy from a local store next time. Too expensive. That's my opinion. Might be able to get it cheaper at Lowes or HD or Walmart, even. But, the light it puts out is quite adequate for the very small under-cabinet, counter-top area I'm using it for.

I have used this model for years. I always keep a spare on hand in case they discontinue it, and they haven't. Under counter installation can be a pain, so I always want the same light so I don't have to drill and screw in new ...oh well. This is bright enough and great for an under-cabinet light. It will not be bright to light your office or workbench. Good product and a good value. I usually get about 4 years from each light while using for about 14 hours per day.

Just what I needed in my kitchen. Works as well as I imagined it would. Perfect!

This one did not mount on the same screws as my old fixture even though the same sz. I had to make new holes for screws. just slightly different from my last one.I use this under my kitchen cabinet for more light.

Stays bright, easy enough to install and at a good price.

I was very surprised by this product, it lights up very well. I thought I would need 2 but 1 does the job very well. Excellent item for the value!

Ended up using it as a UVB fixture for my chameleon. Pretty good, affordable fixture. After some alterations ( popped out the cover and turned it into a reflector for the UVB ). Definitely better than paying $50+ for a “name brand” one. Would purchase again.

Great fluorescent light for the price, Exactly the same as the one I had before who lasted for 10 years. Very easy to install it even used the same screws that were already used for the old one. It gives just the perfect soft extra lighting needed when using the sink or as soft lighting when the kitchen is not busy. I would highly recommend it.

This is just what we were looking for but the enclosed screws are so short. What the heck GE.
