24% faster than other pots
I read other buyer's reviews and see it says faster. I testd boiling same amount of the water on two pots. so here is what I did: 1st picture: I put same amount of water in two pots, the left one is the turbo, right side is another one(a good brand bought from costco). 2nd picture: the timer i use to measure how long takes the pot has water start boiling. The turbo pot takes about 5 min, the other brand pot takes about 6.5 min. so the turbo pot is about 24% faster.

Really does boil water faster
I was replacing an old Calphalon aluminum 6 qt pot and really wanted to hurry up the boil time, as we're on propane, which doesn't produce nearly as much heat as natural gas. Three quarts of the same amount of water and at the same starting temperature took 21 minutes with the old pot and 15 minutes with the Turbo Pot. That's about 29% less time and when they did reach a rolling boil, the Turbo Pot had a much more vigorous boil. The difference is explained by the fact that the aluminum pot seemed to boil around the outside, while the Turbo boiled uniformly across the bottom.

Fast boil
This pot is great and boils quickly! The entire series has been awesome. We use this regularly.

Meh performance, can scratch sinks
I am a geek, and ran a bunch of tests to determine the efficacy of the design. It does work, but on average, it accelerated time-to-boil by 22%, which is a few minutes, max. That, the high cost and the ribbed bottom of the pot, which has scratched me and my sink, are why I do not recommend this product.

28% faster to boil in my test
It was time for a new stockpot, because the handles were disintegrating, so I decided to give this one a try but also wanted to see whether I could measure the difference (I suspected I could, because I understand the principle). I tested the old against the new, both with eight cups of water from the tap (cold). The old pot took 9 minutes, 11 seconds on my gas range to start a rolling boil, this one took 6 minutes, 34 seconds. That's a notable improvement, and also saves energy as a result. I'd call that a win for sure!

So fast to heat up! I am so tired ...
So fast to heat up! I am so tired of waiting ages for pots to warm up so I can start cooking. This pot is also bigger than my other pots, so now we can cook more goodness, for my hungry tummy and family! In this stockpot, my lovely wife cooked up a week's worth of hot and sour soup, which we then finished over the next 24 hours!

Really does what it claims - I have done side ...
Really does what it claims - I have done side by side comparisons, and this pot really does come to a boil faster than flat-bottomed pans. I use it for boiling the water to make pasta - large volume of water required, and used to take forever until I bought this pot.
