We've rappelled on this harness a number of times in the years since as well as used it for a tether point on him while walking on mountainous trails. We've gotten it down and dirty and beat it up. He's hung off the side of 50' cliffs in it. The material is solid and durable. The metal clips show no sign of wear and are also solid and durable. The only minor annoyance is that the strap tails are obnoxiously long, which could create a hazard if they were to get caught on something. I recommend purchasing this. Any error that would lead to an accident in this harness would be human error, the adult who's putting it on the child's error. Make sure you understand how tight and how exactly to wear this harness before a life is involved. It has to be up over the hip bones and stay there in the event of flipping upside down with all the weight hanging to pull someone out of it. Too tight is bad too. Take your time and have someone double check you. Review: Great fit for small climbers. - We ordered a couple of these because we had a kindergarten group coming to our climbing wall. We wanted to make sure we had something to fit our tiniest climbers. These have been great. The multi color makes it easier for the kids to see where they need to step in. I also like that you don't need to double back, which saves us time. In our regular season, we do groups of 15-20 at a time and less time messing with harnesses means more time to climb. Hope to eventually replace all our harnesses with these. Only thing I struggled with is that they are a little stiff but I'm sure that will improve after a couple seasons of breaking them in. ## Features - GEAR UP FAST, THEN GO FIND THE NEXT HOLD β€” Quick-release leg buckles give this Centaur variant a more streamlined setup flow, so young climbers can spend less time sorting leg hardware and more time getting ready for the wall, rope, or course. - BRIGHT COLOR, BIG ADVENTURE ENERGY β€” Blue-and-orange webbing gives the harness a lively, easy-to-recognize look whether it is headed to the climbing gym, an outdoor route, a tree adventure, or an adventure-park session. - KEEP THE MAIN CONNECTION EASY TO FIND β€” A reinforced double-layer front belay loop sits at the center of the harness, creating a clear primary connection area without adding a rear belay loop to this configuration. - FIT CHECK BEFORE THE FUN STARTS β€” The XS/S product-specific sizing graphic shows a 20–28 in waist range and 14–20 in leg range, giving parents and program staff concrete measurements to compare before setup. - KNOW EXACTLY WHICH CENTAUR YOU’RE CHOOSING β€” This is the Blue/Orange XS/S version with Quick Release Buckles and no Back Belay Loop, making the configuration easy to distinguish from the insertion-buckle and rear-loop versions on the same product family. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B01IO0XESC | | Age Range Description | 3-12 years | | Apparel Fabric Stretch | No Stretch | | Apparel Fabric Weight Class | Heavyweight | | Best Sellers Rank | #469,127 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #120 in Climbing Harnesses | | Brand Name | Fusion | | Care instructions | Hand Wash Only | | Collection Name | All | | Color | Blue/Orange | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 100 Reviews | | Fabric Type | 100% Nylon | | Fabric type | 100% Nylon | | Fit Type | Regular | | Garment Size Country | United States | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00635409053816, 00810188352040 | | Import Designation | Made in the USA and Imported | | Included Components | Harness | | Item Highlight | Quick-release leg buckles for fast gear-up Adjustable waist with steel hardware Reinforced double-layer front belay loop | | Item Type Name | Harness | | Manufacturer | Fusion | | Material | Nylon | | Number of Items | 1 | | Occasion | Climbing,Rappelling,Rock Climbing | | Origin | Made in the USA and Imported | | Part Number | KH-103 | | Pattern | Solid | | Product Care Instructions | Hand Wash Only | | Size | 8 x 18 x 10 inches | | Style | Adult | | Style Number | KH-103 | | UPC | 635409053816 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Warranty Description | 1 year factory warranty | ## Product Details - **Color:** Blue/Orange - **Brand:** Fusion - **Material:** Nylon - **Fit Type:** Regular - **Product Care Instructions:** Hand Wash Only ## Images ![Centaur - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81cPhMYoHlL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Safe and Legit *by J***. on October 29, 2025* I'm writing this review a few years after purchasing this harness for my grandson to go rappelling. Easy to get on and off, and easy to instruct kids to put it on by themselves. Stitching is very well done. We've had children/youth around 110 lbs using this with no issue, but it easily tightens down to work for a small four or five year old - say in the 35 to 40 lb range. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://moldova.desertcart.com/products/69247456-centaur](https://moldova.desertcart.com/products/69247456-centaur) --- *Product available on Desertcart Moldova* *Store origin: MD* *Last updated: 2026-10-08*
