Buckets of Monsters!
These seeds grew buckets and buckets of these beautiful huge Roma monsters. Many were as large as 6 inches and almost 1 pound! They were very late to ripen compared to my other tomato varieties, so make sure you have a long enough season or frost protection.

Yes!!! But…
These tomatoes are very large and dense, few seeds. A great tomato for canning and sauces. I will say that I was disappointed with the number of fruits produced. I have 82 plants, (three varieties including these, beefsteak, and Rutgers) of tomatoes. I’d say about 1 in thirty tomatoes is a super sauce. Will I plant these again!? Yes. Next year I will plant three times as many super sauce and maybe two Rutgers. It could be my soil… but I really assumed I’d be getting a dozen quart jars per plant and it’s probably one quart per plant. Great fruit. Disappointing yield. Also these things need to be supported.. huge! A cage will NOT suffice.

Don't waste your money
Terrible. More than half the seeds didn't sprout. What the plant produced was the smallest roma's I've ever seen even though we supplement the soil properly. Typical Chinese junk.

Huge tomato
I have had several of these huge tomatoes this year. This is the easiest to grow tomato seed that I have had in the last 2 years. I put my packaged seed (not used) in the refrigerator for the winter and then bring it out for my spring seeding. This is the second year that I have had a good crop of Roma plants. I think that I have enough seed left for next year. They are not a juicy eating tomato and are better to freeze or can. I use in my soups and sauces all year. Easy to freeze. Dip in pan of slightly boiling water 5 secs and then in ice water, and the skin will fall off. Seed are easy to scrape out of the tomato. All my friends are impressed with my huge Roma tomatoes.

Largest Sauce Tomato I Have Ever Seen
The germination rate on these was 100 percent, the plants were large and sturdy, covered in fruit and I got many that weighed in at over a pound. The taste is comparable to my best slicers and the sauce is thick and rich. Because it is a hybrid tomato I cannot save seeds, but I will buy these seeds as long as they are available. I planted 5 . So far I have harvested an average of 10 pounds per plant and they are still full of green fruit. Apparently they are resistant to Early Blight. My other varieties (heirlooms) are showing signs of blight, but so far, these are bight free.

Super sauce
Looking forward for next year. A friend told me about the seeds. He grew the super sauce and said they were plentiful and large. So I will try next year.

Bigger not always better...
I would classify this tomato as semi-determinate. Germination was good, seedlings were a bit finicky. Growth was moderate to about 50 inches tall x 36 inches wide with little pruning. (all lateral shoots were removed just below the first fruiting truss) Disease resistance appeared better than average. Blossom end rot not an issue. Pollination/fruit set excellent. Fruit size, large to very large 1-2 lbs. Fruit quality, smooth and blemish free. (fruit appeared as looking fake) Truss support, good. Flavor, meh. Take away, this tomato is mostly bark with little bite. Whilst the ovum appeared meaty with fewer seeds, water content was way too high to be classified as a "paste" tomato. Juice? Yes. Slicer, not for my taste. Flavor is thin and quite unremarkable. If you're serious about sauce, stick with the true sauce varieties, i.e. San Marzano, San Marzano II, Roma, Ten Fingers, Royal Plum, Milano Plum, etc. Most folks find these berries to be too dry for fresh eating. That's the point!

These tomatoes get very big
I grew these with the purpose of making sauce. Every seed sprouted and the plants grew very fast. Big producers. These are hybrids. Keep that in mind.
