Big value, great taste, excellent option for serious training
I've been buying this for a few years now. All the flavours are good, it's great value and it mixes easily. When I'm training for marathons, I typically use this on long runs alongside a couple of gels. It helps train your gut without the expense of aiming for >90g/hr with Maurten and other bouji energy products. The size is ideal if you're training regularly.

Great Value, OK Flavour
This is a good energy drink from High5. It mixes well, has no funny side effects and helps me keep going on longer bike rides. Good stuff! I've marked it down a star as I'm not massively sold on the tropical flavour. This is unusual as normally High5s flavours are really good. I normally go for the summer fruits flavour but at the time of purchase this 2.2kg tub of tropical was only slightly more money than 1kg tub of summer fruits so decided to give it a go ;)

Great tasting product

Changed my workout entirely
I'm a late 50s guy who has to work hard for fitness now. This stuff has increased my energy levels during my workouts and allowed me to see greater anaerobic improvement. It can be a bit temperamental in mixing (clumps) but have now started to use a hand mixer to make sure it all dissolves correctly - problem solved. Otherwise the taste is great. 100% recommend.

It’s cheap, maybe good for training if you like to prepare when you struggle. As endurance runner. This is very sweet, for amount or carbs it’s overkill.

Perfect for sports

Edit: Tropical is good if it's cooled, but taste worse in hot weather. Citrus/orange is better for hot weather.

Die High5 Produkte verwende ich seit vielen Jahren. Früher gab es sie nur in UK bei Wiggle, aber nach dem Brexit wurde die Beschaffung immer schwieriger. Der Preis war im Verhältnis zu anderen Produkten sehr günstig. High5 Energy Drink schmeckt sehr angenehm und ist nicht so sauer wie Produkte von anderen Herstellern. Die Lösung ist klar und verfärbt nicht die Flaschen. Wie alle Pulver sollten die nicht in die leere Flasche gefüllt werde, da es zu Klumpen kommen kann. Die Flasche 1/3 mit Wasser füllen, dann das Pulver hinzugeben und ordentlich schütteln und erst dann die Flasche voll machen. Bei Rad am Ring verbraucht man pro Runde viel Energie und wenn es heiss ist, auch viel Wasser. Pro Runde braucht man ein bis zwei Flaschen und mir bekommt es sehr gut. Daher volle Punktzahl und Empfehlung!

Inhaltsstoffe kann man auf dem Etikett nachlesen und dann überlegen, ob es für den persönlichen Einsatzzweck geeignet ist. Der Geschmack ist relativ süß und künstlich - mir gefällt's. Im Vergleich zum Iso-Pulver von Dextro lässt sich dieses nicht so einfach auflösen. Da die Flasche bei mir während des Laufens noch ordentlich durchgeschüttelt wird, stört's mich nicht Nach 2km hat sich auch der letzte Rest des Pulvers aufgelöst.
