Useful helper that every home should have
After Hurricane Helene left many without power, resources, ability to get information and more it because obvious for the need of a simple but useful tool like this. This Hand Crank/Solar/4 Charging Method Emergency Radio - Flashlight - SOS alarm sounder - reading light - compass - mobile power bank is something I now never want to be without. I wasn't sure what WB meant on the radio dial with the AM/FM so I tuned it in and looked it up and found that it's mostly like a weather band type place that's great when needing local weather alerts, temps, changes in weather. I could only get 1 state-wide local weather service station on that channel and nothing on the AM station. This was with the antennae fully extended and full power. On the FM channel so many stations came in that I was excited because in our home for some reason we only get about 4 clear channels normally.Knowing you can crank this up to charge it to run for a while is an added comfort. The flashlight was quite bright, the SOS alarm wasn't terribly loud but its something you could probably use that eventually would make someone further off know they were hearing something if you kept it on. The thing I found neat was that you can flip the top of the portable radio up and there you have a bright "reading light." This would be handy when needing to use a map in the dark. It's very bright. There's a built in compass and adjustable carrying strap. It's not a shoulder strap - its just a hand carrying strap size. Cranking it was somewhat a learning experience. I finally figured out if you crank it moving both arms like the arms on a railroad train moves wheels it becomes easier and you get a rhythm going. I'm concerned that eventually the plastic arm crank piece would either break accidentally while cranking or over time would possibly become brittle if outdoor use is its main purpose and its constantly exposed to temp fluctuations like stored in a barn or vehicle. Maybe not but that's just my thought. Will all that said, I'd definitely recommend this useful tool!

Lightweight with numerous methods of charging
I am getting to know this light and radio and keep finding things that it does that are somewhat unexpected. I like the fact that it can be cranked to charge the battery or left out in the sun for the solar panel to charge it. It has a backup of several AA batteries, so there would not be any reason for this radio not to work during power outages.I had looked at these types of units in the task, and they tended to be ready and heavy, but this one is lightweight. If you were carrying it around, it would not be hard on you. The radio works well, at least the FM band, which is the only one I've used at this point. But there is nothing to dislike about this unit, and in troubling times I believe you would greatly appreciate having it around.I did fail to mention that if you pull up the solar panel you have a nice even light that could be helpful at night getting around your house. It also has a spotlight, but I have not yet tried that one out, it is led so it likely puts out a pretty good light.

Great implementation and design but quality is questionable
The media could not be loaded. This is a great design and a lot packed into a convenient package. What I liked—-- Doubles as a charger for a phone-Has a front spotlight and another flip up area light.-Charges via solar, usb or crank-Uses AAA batteries for use- FM, AM and emergency radio stations-appears to be water resistant-battery strength indicator.-compass on top (works okay) not great—What I don’t like-Not waterproof-weak at pulling in stations-takes a long time to charge.-cheap compassFor the money it would have been nice to add Bluetooth feature, larger battery and better antenna. Otherwise it will do what you need it to do.-weak at pulling in stations

a great emergency tool
I like to be prepared for emergency situations, or generally for camping. This unit packs a lot of features into one unit! AM, FM, and Weather radios. Built-in speaker or headphone jack. Spot light and flood light. Standard output USB-A charger. The little solar panel on top might keep the internal battery topped off but doesn't seem large enough to keep it going 24/7. It will take 3 AAA batteries if you don't want to crank it. The hand crank is where the real power comes from. Like most hand-crank devices the crank arm is the weak point and could potentially break off. I think this one could be about 60% of it's current length and be more effective, but maybe I'm cranking too hard?My 12 year old son has really found interest in listening to the radio, particularly AM talk and sports radio. He carries this around all day listening and cranking to keep it going. The design is really fun with a throwback to old military styling in the round selectors and colors. Everyone should have some bit of emergency gear, this one combines several into one.

Could need in case of extended power outage
I have a little place up north out of the heat here in Phoenix and to say there are power outages often is an understatement. This little radio could very well come in very handy if the power is off for an extended period of time and would likely be much more convenient than going out to my car and turning on the radio there for news or music. That having been said the radio does not have any special sound qualities that I can discern and the dialing in specific radio stations is challenging due to the small dial size.
