Achla Designs Celestial Orb Solar 10-Inch Gazing Globe Ball, Blue Lapis

Update: more than a year later, with it being outside in the open year round, and this gazing ball has stood up to storms, and extreme heat, and freezing in the winter! I am extremely pleased with it, and would most certainly buy from this maker again!!! :)(For reference, a thin glassed mirrored gazing ball i got at hobby lobby didnt make it through a single spring! It just broke, for no reason i ever figured out!!)--------------------------------Very pretty and heavy duty crackle glass globe! Its translucent, kind of frosted on the inside looking, which lets it light up very nicely at night. that makes it look a bit dull in the day time tho. But its a livable trade off for it lighting up at night i think, and its still brightly colored and pretty in the day time to! I got the yellow globe, and despite the pictures showing it as more greenish than yellow to me, mine is a nice bright yellow color, exactly what i wanted! Its very visable from way across my large back yard, both day and night!One thing tho, the solar light that comes with it has way to short of a cord to put it up on top of a 2 foot pedestal, run the cord down the pedestal, out about 2 feet, and back up a pole another 2 feet, to stand the panel above tall plants like daylilys!! I got a set of solar string lights, with a long cord on it, and bunched the light part of the string up inside the globe, and that turned out great! And i think it lights up a lot brighter and better than it would have with the single, altho bright, light that comes with the globe.

This is one of the prettiest things I've bought on Amazon. I love it I can't say enough about it it looks so nice on my porch.I have to find a very sturdy tall gazing ball stand I would not trust it in a flimsy metal one it's heavy.It even looks cool in the rain.It was on the expensive side I hope it lasts for years to come.

The item is nice but didn't get the wingnut for the stack that holds the solar panel and piece that goes into ground. Will have to come up with something g to put together

I love the looks of this light in my garden. I had it in the front of my house, but it was so beautiful, I was afraid it would be stolen. It was on a short stand, and it illuminated the sidewalk, as mentioned in the promotional ad. In the back yard garden, it sits on a higher stand and does not highlight the flowers below, but is very pretty. I may eventually place it on a lower stand to highly blooming flowers beneath. Comes on at dusk, off in the dawn.

It is a great size and puts off a nice glow.

I bought this about a year ago to replace a reflecting ball that broke. The actual ball color isn't as vibrant or bright as in the picture. But it's still a very nice globe. The glass ball is thick and has good weight. And it has survived snow and wind very well. The solar power is lightning provides a nice touch in the evenings and night.

This is a stunning solar light! The solar panel is very big and it has a long cord. The light is beautiful and lasts all night long! The light is heavy but I have it in a metal plant stand and it looks so cool! I would buy this again and plan to add more to my garden!

I love this solar gazing ball! It is so beautiful in the day and it is amazing at night! I have gotten so many compliments on it! I even bought another one for my sister for her birthday, she loves it too! I hope it works for a long time!
