Chihuahua approved!
When I brought my new chihuahua home last year he was only and he had been accustomed to Eukanuba dog food which was sent with him to come home with me. When I got home he acted like he didn’t like Eukanuba the food as he wouldn’t eat it hardly at all which worried more me. He isn’t my first chihuahua or first dog, so after trying with the this food to no avail, I decided to try the chicken and lentil Wag with him. He loved it and he immediately ate it right away. I love the pricing and formulation. To this day, he continues to eat this and gets excited every time it’s meal time. Hope this will continue with same quality and affordability!!

Puppy and mommy approved! Good for small puppies with sensitive tummies
My small terrier mixed breed puppy has a very sensitive tummy. We tried many brands of puppy food in the first couple of months after she was adopted - Science Diet, Purina, Blue Buffalo, and a number of other grain free/limited ingredient “high end” options. Some she outright refused to eat without me adding shredded chicken on top, and others caused her a lot of stomach issues which did not help with potty training! I decided to try Wag because it seemed to be a good balance between cost, convenience and quality ingredients. The pup loved it and we haven’t gone back! The kibbles are small, so easy to eat for small breed puppies. She happily eats her bowl of food 2x per day and her stomach issues have completely cleared up! Her coat is soft and sleek, and her health is great overall. And this food gives her plenty of energy for daily zoomies! Highly recommend

Great product
Wag has been a really great dog food brand. My dog prefers it over generic dog food. I have noticed a difference in her skin coat. It looks shinier and healthier. Although it is a bit on the pricey side I am willing to pay for the quality of this brand.

Adults and puppy’s love this food
Pups love this. In fact the little boy will puke eating anything else!! Get car sick and just over all can’t tolerate other ‘grain free’ foods (grandma watched them and the pups got into her Rachel Ray small dog food which I think is to be grain free). The little girl (sis and bro from same litter) doesn’t have as much trouble switching foods. But the boy is a boy and starving all the timeI just wish the puppy food had more flavors. Both pups rather eat other food for the flavor but since their 5 ish months old now I’m gonna start mixing big dog food into theirs so it’ll be a bit cheaper on me (both pups are 35 ish lbs and we expect the boy to be 50 lbs by one year of age. Girl will be smaller) but they go though one puppy bag of food every two weeks or less They also get my older dogs left overs and we feed them meat n extra veggies from dinner a few times a week typically also to supplement their food intake. The puppy’s have free range automatic feeder outside where we are a lot of the time they ate the same when it was inside the camper also.

It takes at least 6 days to arrive, every time
Although I really like the puppy food and my puppy enjoys it as well, I don't understand why it takes SO LONG to ship/arrive. I'm an Amazon Prime member and it takes this food around 6 days to ship and arrive. Since this is an actual Amazon Brand product I don't understand why it would take so long to arrive. This really can put pet owners in a pinch since this isn't a food I can just go grab at a store if I run out before it arrives.

Good backup
I’d like a bit more meat, but as dry foods go, this is a good value. I use as a mix-in to my very high-meat raw, as a kind of cya for mini-nutrients and an extender. The dogs happily eat it as a single food, too.

CHEAP lentil proteins, misleading, low quality= bad digestion
Bought it because it was cheap and had so many good reviews. They claim it’s high protein but in a misleading way! They do not disclose how much % protein is from meat, versus from cheap processed commodity feed ingredients. So, this food may contain very little actual meat!!Contains: lentils, pea protein, potato protein, peas. These are misleading ways to raise the total protein %. But plant protein doesn’t digest or absorb as well, as dogs are pretty much carnivores, they are not vegan like a prey animal. Lentils/peas can even interfere with how they absorb nutrients. Of course dogs can have carbs too, they can digest starch, but most or ALL of their protein should be from animal meat. Not lentils and peas. Beet pulp is also a controversial ingredient but I’m not too concerned with that, it’s all these lentils, and even possible links to DCM.After feeding this, my dogs poop was more volume, and softer. Not good. They always seemed hungry and coats were not shiny. I have gone back to a higher quality food. Bonus: they eat less of a true high protein food. The keto food from Visionary has my dogs pooping half the amount! And their coats look better now with more fat. I also purchased the keto pet food off Amazon. It was more expensive but they eat a lot less due to its quality.
