Read the instructions! A warm day and hot water smooths the mat very well and be patient.

This is a great product, I was skeptical of the material and ability to lay down. But the product material is great, thicker than expected and after two days has completely flattened out. The lip around the bed is a perfect fit, and I highly recommend this product. I’ve always had rubber liners in the past, but they never fit like this one does.

Last night I complained to the company that the mat didn't fit. Turned out it was user error.. I had to figure out how to put it in. The side edges flip up to contain liquids and they were somewhat flattened from shipment. So I folded them in to make them more square? After that I folded the mat length-wise, slid it in to bed of the truck and started tucking it in as close as I could . (with side flaps up) I did one side first and the other side just fell in place. I was happily surprised. It does have a hump in the middle, so I put something heavy on it, as they suggested. It does fit well and seems very sturdy. Sorry TripleAliner for giving you only 3 stars last night, but I have now made it up to you. I like the product! Thanks, C. O.

Actually a pretty nice bed mat/liner. It comes folded but unfolds easily and sits flat no problem. The surface text is good with a bit of grip. It should help prevent things from sliding around, but I haven't had a chance to really check that out yet.
