This does not come with the mounting plate so save everything INCLUDING the two funky antivibration nuts the OEM motor came with. No need to remove the fan wheel. Very easy replacement. I know they're all snycro motors but for whatever reason, this replacement seems to move a lot more air than the OEM one did. Better fan wheel? Anyhoo. If your fan quit or is vibing really bad, which is fan speak for "I'm dying!", don't be afraid to replace it yourself if you have any DIY skill at all. Modular electrical plugs, no rewiring at all. Easy-Peasy.

Works after modification
So even though this specifically says it's a direct replacement for my exhaust, it wasn't. The capacitor was in the way of the mounting bracket to keep it from mounting properly. I had to add washers to the mounting bolts to raise it up a few millimeters. Once I got it mounted, the fan blade was pushed tightly up against the mounting bracket, preventing it from spinning. I had to remove the fan blade and add more washers underneath it to move the fan blade up a few millimeters. None of these extra washers were included and I didn't even have any that were the correct size so I ended up 3d printing them. However, after all that, the fan works great, it's reasonably quiet, and I haven't had any issues with it yet.
