All seeds germinated
The media could not be loaded. I planted these in mounds of a 50/50 mix of compost and top soil, direct sown. They germinated in about a week, and I have been amending every two weeks with fish fertilizer, Espoma Plant Tone, bone meal, and blood meal. They are absolutely thriving, and I couldn't be more impressed. I also planted some watermelons to creep out from under the beans, with the idea that the beans would fix nitrogen to feed the watermelons. The idea is working wonderfully. I put two seeds in each planting hole, and ended up having to thin out every one of them. They don't include many beans, so rest assured that with the high germination rate you can use one bean per hole.

NO SKIPS..
I started these in pots... every one of them sprouted, hardened well and doing great after they were transplanted into my garden.

They are real.
I worked in the college community garden, that's how I got into gardening. These are how the pods look now after 7 weeks. I know the flowers didn't get pollinated, so these new beans likley won't grow into new ones.
