Skull King has been a huge hit with every group we play with, to the point that I've been responsible for at least 8 additional copies of the game being bought (usually we give our copy away to one of the new players and order another for ourselves). It's become the go-to game for family gatherings and game night with friends. Easy enough to teach to new players who aren't big gamers, but deep enough to reward experience and strategy, while keeping enough luck to ensure it's fun for everyone.

My favorite game! I know I’ll like you if you also say this is your favorite game. It’s so fun and I like the strategy. We have added some fun rules that our family likes, for example, at the last round you can do a blind bid- and if you get your bid you double your points. Yes, we’ve had people bid 0 on round 10 and get the bid and earn an extra 200 points. Makes it lots more fun.Good for ages 8 and up in my opinion! I have texted Grandpa Beck before to ask a question and he responded almost right away! That’s great customer service. We own all of the Grandpa Beck games and this, cover your assets and bears and bees are the favorites. Also the Crumbl cookie version of cover your cookies is fun.

We play this game mostly every time we host, easy to learn, game do not last 6 hours, very funny and challenging!Just be careful if you play with your girlfriend or family there is a high chance that you fight during the game hahaEnjoy !

We all love this game! Our 4 year old sort of gets it, but 6 year old and up play very well! Our kids like strategy and are big into games, and this provides all that they like. I was concerned that it could be scary or too much pirate stuff, but it’s very appropriate and fun! Sort of like spades plus fun power cards with different abilities. Easy to take places. I would recommend it to anyone!

This is a game that is super fun! It took a few rounds to understand the nuances of it, but after that, it was fun and challenging.

Pirate King is a similar card game to Spades or Wizard but with extra levels of complexity (should you choose to include them). It is a blast to play at the bar or in a casual evening at home. It can be played fairly superficially and can be ramped up with strategies galore.This card set is all of the basic needed for the complete game and is of good quality. Like all cards, they can get worn and sticky over time, but these seem typical in their durability.

this a great trik taking game with a pirate theme. If you have played hearts or euchre then you are familiar with this style of game. The game starts fast and hooks you. It takes 10 rounds. round one is just one card. Fun strategy will take about 45min to hour for each game. I played with adults and teenagers.
