I have had great success with all Sharbite products. They are consistent on quality with all varieties I've used. Installation is a breeze by just cutting the old pipe smooth and pushing the Sharkbite onto the pipe. Be sure to push all the way on for secure leak free operation. The 3/8" compression fitting connects up just like any other fitting. The shutoff valve is a big plus requiring only 90 degree turn to go from full on to off. No more turning and turning to get the valve to shut off.

It did what it said and was easy to install. Wish I knew about these years ago. Excellent product.

I’ve done a couple of shut off valve installs, and every time there was a lot of teflon tape and cussing involved. These went on perfectly, first time. So easily, in fact, that I’m waiting for them to explode in some sort of rom-com slapstick hilarity (which wouldn’t be funny at all). They worked so well on my sink that I bought another one to replace the valve on my toilet.It’s been two months and nothing has exploded or leaked even the tiniest bit. Maybe I caught a break for once?

I needed to replace 8 old plastic valves in my house, and it was a lot of work - but only because the old ones were terrible to remove and the pipes needed to be sanded. But ones the pipes were ready, these fit perfectly and there is no leaking at all. I'm glad I chose these.For simplifying installation, I attached the faucet hose first so that I wasn't tugging and twisting on this valve to attach the hose, and then I pushed the valve onto the pipe. I also found I needed to twist the valve closed and open again to loosen it up - it's pretty stuck when it arrives.

So easy to install. Will update a year from now if still working without leaks

The threaded end is not compatible with other threads. Does not connect properly.

Everytime I have used this brand, repairing old work or installing new. I have never had a leak when fallowing basic rules of insulation. Quality control of flow, no drips, solid feel. I just like the performance and quality of a good product. This is one of those products. Will always buy the Sharkbite brand!
