I normally buy 18-8 hardware only because it’s cheaper than 304 or 316. However, 304 is stronger due its higher nickel content. For me that’s a real plus. This is a great set for DIYers like myself and people who like to repair and dabble. The sizes, 1/4 -20, 5/16-18, and ⅜-16 air very common sizes and this assortment provides an excellent array of sizes along with the washers and nuts. About the only thing that’s lame are the lame little wrenches.PROS: - Not metric - Will not rust - Common sizes - Storage case included - Excellent bang for the buck - SAE (English/American) sizes - (3) Types of washers are included - Type 304 stainless steel will not rust - 3-4 different lengths for each bolt size - A half dozen sheet metal screws are included - Great for working on American-made appliances, snow blowers, lawn mowers, cars, etc. CONS: - The little wrenches are lameOverall, I’m happy with this set. It has a near perfect variety of SAE nuts and bolts and washers for the types of projects I work on most. I hope my opinion is helpful.

I've been finding more and more uses for metric bolts and am forever looking for more bolts to use. This is a good quality set with a solid assortment of nuts and bolts. Of the ones I've used so far, I haven't noticed any gritty or sharp edges on the threads. I appreciate the fact that lock washers are also included as these tend to be helpful in a lot of situations.One thing to comment on is in their description they make it a point to mention that they provide multiple layers of protection to prevent the case from breaking. They were exactly right. I've ordered other brands and EVERY single time the plastic case has been broken. Not this time. This one arrived intact and in perfect condition. With that said, I'm not using it as I've moved everything to my own case but I'm glad that this case actually could have been usable. Overall, I'm pleasantly surprised with this set and would probably buy from this seller/brand again.

If you need one piece or need several, this kit has enough to get you by for either replacing or a new project. Not your cheap o depo. this box of stainless hardware weight was suprising when first picked up. It has the most common and quite a few of each. I would recomment this as a bolt and nut first aid kit. It is now my "go to" instead of my junk drawer.

this is super cool to have. every pack comes in its own little zip bag so you don't have a mess of stuff. I like that the bolts come in a variety of lengths and have matching nut sizes! I like the plastic storage box, too. it's kind of like a small fishing tackle box. you can customize the spots as works for you. I'm using this to fix my snowblower later today. you just never know when you need these and it's awesome to have them on hand.

I got this set to supplement the metric hardware I have already collected through piecemealing. This set, however, contains a wide assortment in one place. The case is sturdy, similar to my Plano cases, and it arrived undamaged - this is worth mentioning because most of the time when I order something in a plastic case or tray it arrives cracked or broken into pieces; not this time. One last thing I will mention: stainless steel is a soft metal compared to most ferrite metals and prone to galling when excessive heat and friction from (usually) tightening “cold welds” the threads of the nut and bolt together. I did some rudimentary tests - I did not use a thread lubricant - and there was no galling. I am happy with this kit and think you would be too.

What does every shop and household need? More! This is a great collection of nuts and bolts and odds and ends that are sure to come in handy. You'll never know what you need until you need it so stocking up is smart.This kit has flat and lock washers too. t first I didn't want to take all the parts out of their little bags. Then I realized they'd stay pristine longer if I left them inside until I use them. The case is good quality with the usual plastic clips on the lids. If your shop, like mine, is cold in winter, go slow with them.The low star rating isn't because of the quality or utility but for the price. It's a competitive price but not great.

So, we have a 3d printer and my kids enjoy finding and printing various items from the online model collections. If you've spent any real time doing the same, you know that the connectors used in virtually all of those online models are small and metric - two properties that make them hard to pick up locally here in the southeast US.This kit is pretty nice. It has a good variety of sizes and will certainly help match up with the requirements for online 3d prints. It's been a struggle in the past, but now with a good assortment of M3-M6 bolts we should have a lot less issues when printed items require these types of connectors.If you have a similar situation, this kit is not a bad idea to add to your 3d printing workbench.

I do many DYI projects around the house and having a supply of high-quality, stainless steel bolts and nuts is a real convenience. Having needed parts on-hand is a big time saver vs getting in the car and heading (again) to the hardware store. This assortment of bolts and nuts seem well-made from quality stainless steel. Living in a cold and wet environment, stainless steel is my preferred material for fasteners as it resists corrosion. The bolts and nuts in this kit fit together as expected...smoothly and securely. Good variety of sizes, great quality at a reasonable price.
