I ordered two sets of these total of 12 and all I installed them today. Myself only had one window left yet to go. It was hard to get to haven’t been able to get to it yet, but I am very pleased with these. I feel secure now, especially in one room. I was kind of concerned, but now that I have them fixed I’m no longer worried. I’m really glad that I found these on here. They are perfect sturdy and easy to install. I highly recommend these for anyone That is in doubt about security now I need to get my doors secured.

I took measurements first to make sure they fit. Attached them on the same day of arrival. They seem sturdy and were easy to attach. Bought them after a neighbor's cat fell out of their window in the eighth floor and died despite a fly screen being attached. I live even higher up. Just want to make sure neither a guest nor maintenance will ever open my windows further than a kitty can get through.

Installed in less than 2 minutes with an adjustment. Seems very secure. Good peace of mind.

Love these! They work very well for my vertical and horizontal sliding windows. I have a Whole House Fan that needs a couple windows cracked when running it. I never felt comfortable at night when I’m sleeping with windows cracked open. I added these window locks and now I can sleep well while enjoying the coolness of my Whole House Fan! I highly recommend these.

The first question you should ask yourself when you buy this is why are you securing your window. Is it to keep someone from inside from opening the window to go out, is it keep someone from outside opening the window to come in, or both? Honestly it works for either.If the use case is the former, it would have been better to not use a hex socket screw as it's very easy to find the right tool to turn these in a standard bit driver set. A security screw (or tamper proof fastener) would have been better but probably added cost.I do like the hex nut option when you install it backwards, but it doesn't fit that way on all my windows. None the less I'm happy with the purchase and will buy more to finish installation on the windows.Note that not being able to open a window could be considered a fire safety issue, so plan accordingly.

These are wonder little window locks! We have sliding windows in my 3 year old's room, and I wanted to make sure he couldn't get it. They are easy to use and very quick to install and uninstall. I highly recommend!

I purchased these bc they had a good price and we need a few more to secure our windows. Unfortunately, these are much larger than the previous ones we purchase so, I will be returning these to keep the look uniform and the smaller profile. From what I can tell the quality looked good and thex can get the job done.
