I absolutely love this leash and waist belt. I run every morning and this is a huge life safer! It is a little heavy but if my dog (who's 80 lbs) runs at a steady pace and keeps the leash fully extended it takes the weight off the belt and keeps it from bouncing. I leave mine a little loose so the belt can move from side to side when he does. I'm a size 2-4 waiste and it will tighten enough so it'd be snug. I was concerned that my Samsung Note 8 wouldn't fit but it does and it has a pretty bulky case on it as well. I can also fit other items in the second pocket. Plenty of room. Made with good quality material, I think this is going to hold up nicely!

This is a very well made, thoughtful product (and it came early, which was awesome). The pocket fits my Google Pixel 2 just fine and the belt doesn't look frumpy or bulky the way a fanny pack would. The leash is sturdy; I can't speak for the shock absorption because my dog stays at a heel, but it seems like it would work well. I'd love to see options for shorter leashes in the future, since it nearly touches the ground when my dog is at my hip, but it so far hasn't been a big deal. Love that it's from a small business that promotes adoption. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who loves running with their dog!(My dog looks a little less than thrilled in this picture, but I promise he loves it)

This product along with a full dog harness is great for running with my huskies. It’s able to hold my iPhone X (and comparable phones) and doggie bags. The bungie leash is great although my dogs pull so hard as they love running that the bungee no longer get goes to the original size, but it still absorbs the shock. My dogs are not perfect and if they see a cat they will try to go for it thankfully this leash is strong enough to hold them without me having to worry. I did buy 2 of these sets, I use both leashes but only use one belt when running with them. The dogs are 50 and 60 pounds and I’d wager the belt can hold up to 150-200 pounds of force with these 2 pulling. If you have a medium to larger size dog and go running with them, this is the most practical belt on amazon. If they were to improve anything on this belt it would we the quality of the bungee just so it regains it’s shape, but again I have no fear of the leash breaking/ripping/ or fraying.

Exactly what I needed to go biking with my dog! The bungee really does absorb any sudden pulling. For the most part he keeps to a loose heel position, but when we pass close to another dog mine gets excited and wants to go greet them. When he pulls I just feel a light tug at my waist and keep peddling, giving him no choice but to keep moving. With a regular leash he could easily pull me off the bike. I did wrap the leash a few times around the belt to shorten it a bit so my dog wasn’t able to get far enough ahead of or behind me that he would be tempted to cross to the other side of the bike. The pockets are a decent size. I normally take only poop bags and my garage door opener along, but it’s just big enough to hold an iPhone 7 plus if I wanted.

Solid construction, I’m 6 foot 230, I wear 34-36 inch waist pants and it fits me with plenty of room left for bigger folks. The two pockets expand and are more than enough for doggy bags, treats, phone, and a small wallet. The pockets also appear to be waterproof. I honestly haven’t tested yet as I’m really just a fair weather runner but based on other similar designs it should be fine.There are two D rings to attach the included bungee collar. I guess you could attach an additional leash or water bottle, or whatever.When running I use the full length of the leash but when I walk I double it over so my dog doesn’t wander.For those that are worried about pulling or balance, my dog is 70 pounds and pulls pretty strong and he hasn’t made me lose balance yet. He has run in front of me but after I have bumped him a few times he now knows to stay on my left and stay clear of me.I really love being hands free on my runs and walks and my shoulder thanks me for getting this setup. I definitely recommend.

UPDATE:After just over a year of use the buckle used for tightening the waistband developed a crack (see picture). I contacted the company via their website and they sent me a new waistband nearly free of charge (I had to pay a $7 shipping fee). Aside from this minor issue the rest of the leash is still holding up great after using it 3-4 times a week for over a year. I still recommend it, especially since the company appears backup their product with excellent customer service.ORIGINAL REVIEW:I'm a 6' runner whose been using it for my 2 year old 50 lb lab mix on our ~5 km runs 3-4 times a week for the past two months. My dog is not a big puller and is generally responsive to verbal commands, but is not what I could consider a perfectly trained dog. I've attached the leash both directly on my dog's collar and a little further down her back with a harness that we sometimes put on. The harness position works a little better for her. Encounters that we have tested this leash with include other people, other dogs, squirrels, deer, rabbits, and cars. In every situation I've been able to get the dog under control and have never been pulled off balance thanks to the strong elastic. In terms of my running, it has been exceptionally helpful to keep my form unaffected when I'm running with her. Prior to this belt, I was developing some hip and knee issues which I think was related to changes in how I swung my arms and my foot strike with a traditional non elastic leash in hand. I've not had any issues since switching to this belt/leash and nothing else has changed.The material, stitching, elastic, metal hooks, metal loops, and buckles are of good quality and have been holding up very well. I've not noticed any loose stitching or fraying and the elastic is holding up without any sign of stretching thus far. The pockets are large enough to fit my 5.2" phone, doggy bags, and anything else I happen to need that day. I've not used it in the rain so I can't comment on how well it keeps the contents dry. The zippers have worked well and without issue, but they do seem to be the weakest part of this belt in terms of the quality of the material used. This is not a major concern in my mind.

Fantastic product. Very well made, the belt doesn't loosen while I run with my mid size cockapoo dog and the clip is heavy duty and we'll made. My dog is about 28lbs, the leash might be too heavy for a dog under 20lbs. There are 2 waterproof expandable pouches, one is bigger than the other and it fits my Samsung Galaxy A50 with a case just fine. The other pouch fits the poop bags and Kleenex with room to spare. The handles on the leash are flush with the lead so it's difficult to get ahold of them quickly but I just grab the lead instead and it's fine. I have owned dogs most of my life and wish I had gotten this years ago, well worth it to be hands free!

Works great for running, dog has to be good though. Tried to use while rollerblading but my dog had full control and I almost died. Great product! Pockets are helpful to put phone, keys, etc.

Ceinture et laisse rétractable bien conçus et de fabrication solide. La laisse est toutefois un peu courte. C'est parfait si on veut marcher avec un chien et que l'on veut le garder près de nous mais ce n'est pas pratique si on veut se servir de la laisse rétractable pour faire de la course à pied avec notre chien.

My dog is very strong and every time he sees a dog he just runs towards them. Dogs normally attack him for doing that but he doesn't wanna understand. Today he didn't drag me with him. Altho the leash is long... it did the job!

This is amazing. The leash does not allow my dog to pull. Since I’ve had it, my boyfriend bought 2, my sister bought one and I’ve recommended it to tons of dog owners on my walks (I should be making commission!) The only downside is that if you have two dogs, you have to buy 2 full leashes. It would be great if it came with an extra leash (without the waistband) but there is an extra loop on the waistband. It is short as well. But overall great product & great price.
