Is an excellent reference book, a must have, can't compare to Hayne's version because I don't have it, but this is good enough anyways. There are some negative points though, Not all error codes are listed, for instance, I have P2483 and is not listed. Also it is specific for US & Canada versions (it's said explicitly though). For my Subaru Forester 2006, non-turbo 2.0L (EJ20), version which apparently doesn't exist in the US, I have to follow the Turbo version for reference.I live in Chile.

I was looking for a repair manual which covered basic auto repairs which included pictures and procedures. This manual does that. The information is accurate and helpful for the average auto backyard mechanic. Although I haven't done any major repairs to the engine, trans and drive train the manual covers troubleshooting problems and can help you decide whether to attempt it yourself or go to the professionals. Good value.

We have depended on Chilton car manuals for many years. A MUST for used or pre-owned car owners!Even if you do not intend to be your own mechanic, the manual can confirm if your mechanic is truthful in what they say is wrong with your car. Also, if your car has a problem, you can seek out what it probably is and determine the severity of the problem before having to have it repaired.An excellent reference manual for anyone with a car over, say, 3 years old - when your car may begin having some problems.

These books are invaluable when you wish to do anything on your car, but they do cover a wide range of dates and models. But these books, along with YouTube, will get the job done. I got this one and the Haynes version, as both were for older cars and used, so cheap.

Bought this repair manual to get instructions for a specific repair to my storage unit and clock assembly in my Subaru Forester, I followed the instructions and finished the repair in no time. Very handy and I'll have it for any future repairs.

El manual esta bien pero faltan muchos detalles. Bueno para un mantenimiento muy general.
