It's really easy to assemble and to clean. The thumb screw is a great way to keep it stable and also provide quick disassembly for cleaning. It's so easy to clean debris, I do that every day. I have tough dirt, so I used a rubber mallet to pound the base down about halfway, then filled the bath and pounded selectively to make it perfectly level. The stakes are large and solid! Just what I was looking for! The bird bath was very easy to put together. It is very sturdy. Seems to be holding its own with these high seasonal winds we have been experiencing so far this year. There are 3 strong metal prongs which screw into base then pushed into ground. It's not a real deep basin which is nice for my smaller birds. I am very happy with my purchase. Glad I found it! This bird bath is easy to set up and sturdy. Easy to remove bowl for cleaning. Only reason I gave it 4 stars and not five is the color. I chose the green. I think it’s a weird color of green. Otherwise a good choice.

I have had many other bird baths that have disappointed me. This bird bath did not. Easy to clean. Nice design and sturdy.

Too shallow and not attractive to birds.

This is one of the best items I've ever purchased! It'smuch more substantial that I expected. Packaged very well and extremely easy to put together. The stake part is heavy metal and doesn't move or sway. Birds love it!
