Acceptable Quality
My gantry will only hold 2T so I purchased this to exceed it so as not to be a point of failure. Worked quite well moving about 500-750lbs so far with two things of note. First the small fasteners holding the covers on fell out despite being installed with nylock nuts. Second the point where the chain rotates around the lifting hook binds when the chain is pulled in either direction, though this seems to only happen when not under any load.

Very Heavy and must keep oiled or it will rust.
Very strong and also very very heavy to move around. Does not have a quick release in order to pull the chain through.

Ordered new received old used beat up unit
I bought a new chain hoist....received a used unit that is scratched, dented, and covered in oil.Unit was received just in a box with a thin plastic bag bunched up at the top and a random ratchet strap thrown in for good measureCompletely unacceptable and unprofessional.
