This is the best rug pad I’ve ever purchased. It’s dense and solid, it gives some cushion, but not super cushioned. It will probably offer best longevity I’ve had with a pad. I didn’t have to cut it, so I can’t comment on that. Worth the extra $$.

There is a loud creak in the hallway of my rental that I've been trying resolve for over a year. This mat is thick and firm enough to distribute weight enough to soften the creak to a whisper.Although it slides just a little and needs occasional repositioning, this is the most stable solution I've encountered short of using adhesive strips that damage my rugs.(Quality)

I have tried a few rug pads for our 18 foot runner in the hallway. This one seems to stay put the best on our wood floor however, the rug does slip on top. I have posted a picture to show what I’m talking about.

I have standard kitchen linoleum and a rag rug that was sliding all over. Others complained that this didn't stick down their rug well, but I think this does a good job. I can with work move it around with my foot, but it very much slows that creeping thing my rug was doing. Since i got this months ago I've had to adjust it maybe 2-3 times, rather than nearly daily. Also, the thickness of it (3/8 inch) was nice, giving me some padding. It's not as cushy as say memory foam, but I feel like this will wear much better as well. Worth the price!

I've had this one day and I already hate it--it's going back. It is well made and thick but it slips all over and the rug slips off it. Not grippy enough. (I have it on hardwood)

The good news is, it is larger than 6x9. The bad news is our carpet slips/moves all the time! The pad “sheds” after being cut to size…it sticks to the floor, but not the rug. The old fashion and less expensive padding we previously used is better than this! Note to self, new and improved is not always better. Can’t return it because it’s been cut!

I needed this for a woven rug that wanted to slip and slide. It does it's job of keeping the rug in place and it's also nice and thick for cushioning too. High quality. It's a really dark blue so I washed it first; I wasn't sure if it would color bleed onto my rug. (It hasn't.) Overall I'm pleased with it, although trimming it to size was tough because it is so thick!

We really like this rug pad. It really is non slip on the floor. However our light weight washable rug does move around a little bit on the top. I also did have to cut away about an inch. MI’m not sure if the rug shrunk or the pad was a little large. Not a big deal for me. The thickness of the pad is the best part. We have young kids and play on the floor everyday, it makes it much more comfortable for us all.
