High quality item and very practical to help keep my family organized!

It's great to see that chalkboard products are still being made even after the advance of the whiteboards' takeover over the past 20 years, so I welcomed this product.My expectations going in were all met, they were:easy installation √,easy writing surface √,quality build √,and sturdy materials √.I also needed to be able to use this without it moving about on the wall as I wrote and I found this was related to proper hanging more than the product itself. I followed the directions and found the board to be secure enough not to wiggle unless I leaned on the board and physically jiggled the board either intentionally or accidentally. I expected a bit more drag from the chalk than I typically get from using the whiteboard, but the writing has been pretty smooth.All in all, it is a great organizer as the cork surface can be used to post static paper reminders/checklists, but we use it to post motivational sayings or quotes and the chalkboard can be used for listing, messages, or even old school math.I gave it four stars instead of five because of the logo placement. The other boards I have do not have such a bold logo placement so I was a little surprised as a chore included with keeping any kind of productivity board is minimizing visual clutter, not to mention it dictates where I start writing which reduces the usuable writing surface. This is the first board I own that actually has the logo printed onto the writing surface, most use the frame and I would definitely suggest the manufacturer and designer redo this otherwise amazing product by revising the logo placement to allow more function and usuable surface area.This also forces the brand to be in any photo I take of my board, and seeing the word "JAG" in bigger letters than my handwriting is distracting.

My wife and I have had this up for nearly a week now and so far it's holding up great. We opted for command strips since we had difficulty finding studs that fit within the frame width where the anchors are located.Overall, this board is fun for organization and writing notes to each other. The pin board works really well, though I recommend pushing the pins in really deep as I had at least one pin fall out during the initial first day.The included chalk holder is fantastic, as I often experience a bad sensation when touching chalk with my finger nails. The chalk itself that's included is smooth when writing on the chalkboard.The included magnets for holding the chalk holder work well, but the only magnetic part of the apparatus is the pin part, which is akward when trying to place it on the board.Overall, really fun and great item.

They cover their logo up in the stock Ocoee but it's there. Takes up the top portion of the chalkboard.The eraser is full size and magnetic.3 tiny but fairly strong magnets included.Chalk holder is nice. It would have been nicer if there was a ledge or some type of small holder at the bottom of the board for the chalk.Push pins are plastic and much longer than necessary with such a this cork board.Comes with hardware and predrilled holes for hanging.

I got this handy chalk board/cork board combo for a small office bathroom for quick messages to the other tenants to manage whose turn it is to clean the bathroom, pantry and other common areas. It comes with four sticks of chalk, a chalk holder (nice), eraser, mounting hardware, starter pins, directions, and of course the board itself. Mounting is easy but in my case since I already had a hook installed on the wall from a previous picture, I used 24 gauge electrical wire strung between the two frame brackets to catch onto the existing wall hook. Works fine. Otherwise, in a typical installation you would need two small nails to catch onto the frame brackets which must be screwed into the frame (easy with a medium Philips screw driver). The pre-drilled holes in the frame were not spaced just right on one side but I was able to angle the screw a bit to fit okay. Would have been nice if they supplied the wall nails but anyway I did not need them. One feature I did not like is that the manufacturers "JAG" logo is printed so large in the top of the black board area. Only a blank black board should be in that area - I tried to wash it off but it seems to be painted on. They should have just printed their logo on the edge of the frame - that would have been enough. Otherwise, it seems well made and sturdy. The pins hold onto the cork firmly and securely.

Nice quality chalk and cork board. The cork board I received is dark and not the lighter brown color which is fine, but unexpected. The overall size is 23.5”x15.5” - slightly under the listed size.It’s helpful that the set comes with accessories.- The chalk holder is a nice addition that I wouldn’t have thought to buy.- The 3 magnets are tiny, but strong and does a good job attaching the pocket clip of the chalk holder to the board.- The head of the gold pins are plastic, but the needles are metal. The plastic feels fragile and is unpolished.- The magnetic sponge works. Sticks to the blackboard when not in use. It’s large enough to cover the logo.It comes with mounting hardware and pre-drilled holes for the included sawtooth hangers. To fit into my intended wall space, I had to turn the board sideways and create my own holes.The board is well constructed and feels sturdy. I have 2 minor issues though.1) The logo is too big for the limited size chalkboard. It should be smaller so there’s more writing/drawing space.2) The listing claims a “magnetic cork surface”. The cork is not magnetic. Only the blackboard is magnetic.Great product overall. Despite the issues, I would buy again if I need another combo board.
