This blanket is the softest one I've ever owned. They wash well (at least the brown did) and they don't seem to shrink. I have an oxygen concentrator that lives in my bedroom so it's appearance and sound doesn't bother my guests - it's also the perfect place where my O2 tubing can reach all parts of my small apartment. But it generates a LOT of heat. Since I've moved to this apartment in a Senior living facility, I have had no need to even turn on the heat even when it's below zero out with blowing snow - but the air conditioning is always on. I sleep on top of the cover of my bed in my pajamas and socks on and with this blanket lightly draped over my shoulders - which is the only part that gets directly hit by my air conditioning and get cold. If I cover more than that I wake up sweating all over. It's also perfect when you're half lying on the sofa watching a movie and are just a little bit cold. Do try to keep your cat from finding out how soft this blanket is or the cat will lay on it and get it covered in fur no matter how often you brush her. I found another blanket that she has long coveted so right now she thinks she is getting the best deal. I can't remember if they make a larger size but just be aware of exactly how big it will be on your body and appreciate what it is meant to be used for and not give a nasty negative review that it is too small or too thin because it's SUPPOSED to be that way - that's why I would worry about giving it as a gift in case the receiver would be expecting something bigger or thicker and just think you are too cheap to give them a decent blanket. For me, it is just perfect the way it is.

I have purchased aprx 10 blankets/throws from Amazon and I love them all but I sincerely think this is the softest, lightweight blanket I've ever had! It's perfect for people who love to wrap themselves up to watch TV, sleep, etc and especially this time of year in Florida it's hot but I can't sleep unless I'm covered and this is perfect because I put out Alot of body heat when I sleep as well. This makes me feel warm without feeling overheated but OMGosh it is sooo soft. I bought the twin size for my living room and it possibly is a bit smaller than other twin blankets I've purchased, but not by much or maybe because it's not heavy it just "feels" smaller but I absolutely love it and plan to get more in other colors!

I bought one and really liked it so bought a second one for my husband who likes it as much as I do. We use them while watching TV. We like to keep AC at 72 but we don’t like having the air hit our shoulders etc. This throw looks good and is soft and fluffy. Haven’t washed them yet which is why I didn’t give it a five star. Would recommend them for their lightness and comfortable softness

My only regret is that I didn’t buy more of them. Listen, get the twin size or larger. You’re too good to be buying throw size blankets. These are so soft you will feel like you’re living the luxurious life of a Sultan King or Queen. And until you get a twin size throw for your couch, you won’t know how much time and lack of comfort you’ve wasted trying to share a throw blanket with your partner and dog. Buy this blanket, twin size or larger. You’re worth it.

I bought this blanket for my massage practice. It does fit, but only just. It'll work for what I need and bought it for. But it wouldn't gotten 5 stars had it just been a bit bigger. But it definitely amps up the decor and ambiance in my room and has a beautiful marbling effect. No issues after washing it and it's very soft and comfy.

I love the feel of this throw. If you are a person who just HAS TO have a lap blanket, whether because you love them or your furbaby is entirely spoiled, this is the one!One star off because I don't think it's going to be super durable. I haven't washed it yet either. May not be fair to take off a whole star, but halves aren't an option!

Wanted light NOT Hot blanket.Given the price, can't really complain. Just too small.It comes in a vacuum seal. Thought of traveling/flying it is so small and flat in vac seal, good for carry on and big enough for your own small but small blanket.

Needed a throw to take to dialysis that was not bulky, yet warm. This is perfect. Silky soft, lightweight, folds down nicely. Also washes well. I have purchased two more in different sizes to use at home as well.

Lovely quality, rich colour and soft. I thought it might have been a little bigger than it was but perfect for throwing over you on the couch.

Very pale pale, almost white, green. But still nice. Does what it’s meant to do so what’s to disappoint
