The extra length of the antenna allows you to route them outside of the model. This receiver features TRUE DIVERSITY technology. It is especially important for long range flights and in situations where you need more robust reception. It is also very useful in aircraft with carbon fiber frames where antenna can be in shadow of the airframe. If one of the antennas cannot receive signal due to its orientation of airframe shadow, the satellite will use the other one and will still receive proper commands from transmitter. We tested these satellites in real flight tests many times and achieved 2 or more kilometres line of performance. Please note that your range depends on the conditions in your place – interference, WiFi presence, obstacles and even air humidity.
