Did what I asked
Worked as expected. Drilled a neat 50mm hole through the exterior brick cavity wall of my house to fit a new bath waste.I drilled a pilot hole from the bathroom to the outside, and followed this with the core bit from either side.It took a little time as you can't use hammer action, but it cut a neat hole through engineering brick

Does the Job
Seems alright so far, at this price wasn't expecting it to do more than one or two bores. So far I have cone through two single skin 1950's brick wall and two double skin 1950's brick walls. One of the skins was engineered blue brick and this took FOREVER to get through, but it did go through.Note the bore will NOT go through a double skin wall in a single pass. I piloted with a 8mm long masonry bit then followed through on both sides of the wall with this. For the price i cant really argue.

Good quality but a bit short.
It has drilled two holes through my cavity wall so far and is still looking good.My only complaint is it's a bit short. I had to drill from each side of the cavity wall, after using a long drill bit as a guide hole but with the added thickness of the plaster board and mortar it didn't quite meet in the middle. Luckily the thermal blocks are quite soft and chiselled through easily.

Ideal for 40mm pipe👍
Bought this for 40mm drainage pipe for washing machine, went through brick very easily, I would recommend this👍

Hole in One
Really pleased with this. Great value for a one-off job. I needed a tidy hole in a partition wall to insert a pipe to carry ethernet, speaker and mains cables. Hole in one. quick easy, clean cut through a mix of plaster-stud type wall and some aggregate (stone)Now the trick is to store in a place that I can remember where to find it next time this job arises.

Just what was needed!
Just what I needed for drilling through our (very) dense brickwork cavity wall for new sink waste pipe. One recommendation - make sure you have a pilot bit long enough to go through the wall if it is thicker than approx. 120mm / 130mm as you will need to drill from both sides or get an extended holder for the core bit

Does the job
I used this to drill a 50mm hole through two cavity walls.I was amazed at the ease that this core drill bit drilled through cavity wall with ease.
