SES Creative01153 Children's Scary Animals Glow in The Dark Casting and Painting Set

I bought this casting set for a very good friend of mine child's 8th birthday. She told me that her son and his younger brother had had hours of fun and would like similar presents in the future. Sometimes making things can be more rewarding than just pressing buttons and this fits the bill for budding 'crafty kids'. It ticked all the right boxes for a young boy who just loves all things creepy crawly (and getting messy). My friend would definitely rate this 8-9 of 10. It also arrived at the requested time - Amazon have never let me down!

Great little craft project. Haven’t painted them yet but really good results with the plaster. Fairly small brush for intricate paint work later. Pleased so far.

This was great for the price. You mix the concrete with water in a jug (which my 9 year old enjoyed) then pour the slip into the mould. Wait 24 hours and then paint them. I choose these because there is not much out there for boys like this, so I really liked that there are bugs and spiders to make. Great gift too.

The children loved making creepy Crawlers! There’s a lot of cement powder thing to make many bugs! The paint comes up nice as well. I will buy it again!

Great for creative kids(4,9 and 11). Paints are descent. Mold can be used several times.But... instructions very poor and don't work. Takes more then 24hrs to fully dry. Consistency is not as shown in instructions.

This is very good. It took only an hour to dry.The only issue it that it doesn't say how much water to add. So don't add too much!
