I bought this for myself and didn’t like using it - I’ve always had a solid basket and I discovered that I actually lean on the basket as I put the washing into the washing machine - well when I leaned on this one it just gave way. I also find it a bit wide to balance against my hip - I have quite short arms and it isn’t shaped at one side like my old basket. So I was disappointed but - I gave it to my son. He absolutely loves it. He lives in a flat and loves how it folds flat to be stored. He hasn’t had one before so he isn’t used to anything different. He doesn’t have my problem of it being too wide.So although it doesn’t suit me, it is a very good, well made product and it suits my son.

This laundry basket is an amazing space saver as folds almost completely flat and can slide in nice thin spaces.Positives: It holds a good size load of washing and is easy to clean. Easy to open up.Negatives: can be tricky to fold back down properly, sometimes it doesn’t go back flat without some pushing and poking to get the flexible sides to sit right. Can collapse easily if you put too much weight on the top (when picking up for example).Would absolutely recommend it. The positives outweigh the negatives. We even bought a matching collapsible bucket too!

I have more than one of these, they are sturdy and great space savers, so neat to put away. I did have an issue with one splitting after a few months of use but the seller very promptly sent me a new one, the first two I have had for a couple of years and are still going strong! - first class customer service - would fully recommend.

Really good quality and practical laundry basket. You're always worried when you go for something unconventional that it's going to be a trade off for quality. But this is definitely an exception to that rule. It is really sturdy and good quality. The handles are fantastic, solid and very comfortable. It makes it really easy to carry around the house.As others have commented the folding takes some getting used to. You expect to just be able to crush it down and it all folds into place but that's not the reality. It probably takes about 10 seconds to fold it once you're used to it. I've given 5 stars because looks at the design I'm not sure an immediate fold is even possible, and it's a huge improvement over a plastic basket that doesn't have the option of folding!

We are both in our 70's and anything we buy we need to be sure of its contribution to our household lives. When we saw and read about this container we both said yes and placed the order. As for its use well it is used once a week on average but is left expanded for a second wash after first. The fact it collapsed assured us of a perfect store space. Now with the split having started we are keeping the basket opened up to 100%.We expected this product to have lasted for more than 5 months so could we please request a refund.Regards from Mrs O Smillie

A folding laundry basket is a nice idea, unfortunately in this case…a poorly executed example.I purchased this item from Beldray in October 2022 and it started to fall apart in early 2023, with a small hole opening up on one of the folds. I unfortunately decided at the time I could live with it… my mistake, I should have returned it then. Well lesson learned…and one I won’t repeat. I figure it will last about another month or so before the bottom falls out.Also, it’s not that easy to fold up after use…

Like other reviews our basket has also split at the seams after about 1.5 years of use. Up to that point it was a good basket - convenient when you don’t have a lot of space, and a good size. I will replace it but will try a different brand.

Cette corbeille à linge offre un gain de place énorme une fois repliée. Elle peut être rangée facilement sur le côté de la machine à laver ou autre. Une fois dépliée elle possède une grande capacité, j'ai une 8 kg et toute la tournée rentre dedans sans problème. Le plastique est de bonne qualité et je pense quelle sera durable dans le temps. Elle est facile à plier et déplier, je suis ravie de mon achat.
