Good Item
I bought this item as a Christmas present for my uncle, and thought that its novelty value was quite good. The product arrived quickly after I ordered it. As I took it out of its packet I found that it was of good quality and when used to make ice cubes thy look realistic like the picture, especially as they are designed so they look like they are sinking as well!Overall, great comedy value at a good price!

We are terrible human beings...
I know this has been reviewed in other places too but this is SUCH a funny product. The fact the ship floats at an angle in your glass is a nice touch.YES as people have mentioned this is a product done in bad taste. But I guess that just makes us terrible human beings for getting so many laughs out of something so 'wrong.'We've had no trouble getting the entire ship out as some other people have, the trick is to run some cold water over the back of the tray to loosen them up a bit!

A Brilliant Planet (seller)
Bought this via A Brilliant Planet, and was quite disappointed at first. The item was not "Fred" branded, arrived in a plastic bag with no "proper" packing or information. However, I left feedback to this effect, and the seller, Rose, contacted me a number of times in order to resolve the issue. I am therefore left with a much more positive experience than originally expected when I opened the package. I would highly recommend them now.The item itself is not bad, and I have been sure to take care when removing the ships from the mould, to avoid breaking off the funnels as this has been mentioned in numerous reviews previously. Worth a few quid for the novelty factor :o)

Who needs a freezer when you have a mother-in-law?
I bought these for a somewhat ill-advised family get-together in the penthouse apartment of Southampton's Southwestern House (where some of the Titanic's passengers spent their last night before the voyage). We had all sorts of paraphernalia, Edwardian dress, these ice cube moulds, some authentic period recipes. I also rather foolishly decided to invite along our own cold and immovable object, my former mother-in-law. She managed to wreak almost as much damage as the original iceberg, and I took a lifeboat to safety at the first opportunity. Before I left though, I might have had just a teeny weeny bit too much to drink. But that was entirely justifiable, especially with such beautiful ice cubes to enjoy. They look good floating around a pink gin, that's for sure. So much so that we ran out of ice after only a few drinks. Ah, but that was when my mother-in-law came immediately to the fore. She looked at me with one of her trademark cold expressions, one of the hallmarks of our entire relationship. Luckily, I was holding this tray at the time. That expression produced more ice cubes quick smart and I was able to get even drunker, be even cheekier to her, and produce yet more ice cubes. We had quite a nice little production line going actually, before I was escorted from the premises for my own safety. It was brilliant!

so cool!
I have done these ice cubes for a couple of parties now and every one loves them! they are sooo cool, lots of people have remarked on how difficult it is to get the ships out without breaking off the funnels the trick is to hold the ice cube tray above some steam, like a boiling kettle, for about 15 or 20 seconds, this will just melt it slightly enough to loosen it from the tray thus getting it out perfectly. I think the instructions should say this as if you don't its not at all easy.

Silicon mould is quite tough - hard to get shapes out
The silicon is not as flexible as other silicon moulds so getting the titanic ship out is actually quite tricky.

Great novelty gift!
These were a gift for someone who is really into the Titanic story .... and gin! Couldn't have found a more suitable gift and she was truly tickled pink with the idea. Apparently she also floats them in the bath as well as her gin to ensure she gets plenty of use out of them!! Good quality and a great price with quick delivery. Very impressed
