Hidden expiry date
I've ordered these coffee pods many times from Amazon and always been pleased with them, but this time they didn't come in the usual boxes of three packs, but instead as 6 individual packs. Two of the packs had barcode stickers stuck over the expiry dates, and when I peeled these off, the expiry date had been scraped away. This can only lead me to assume these two packs were past their expiry date. I will use them anyway, as it is a Best Before date and not a 'use by' date, but it does make me a bit cautious about ordering again.

Poorer Quality
Have bought a lot of Dolce Gusto Grande in recent years BUT the last batch of 48 were much poorer quality than usual. They did not appear to develop much if any internal pressure so the resultant drink was weak and lacking in taste and also had little if any crema. There seem to be changes for the worse and lack of availability for D/G pods in general.

NOT "Grande Crema", just "Grande" - it might be the same thing but it's not clear
Ordered this based on the product heading as we like the slightly frothy Grande Crema coffees dolce gusto do. Even the box in the picture says "Grande", but if you look closely at the capsules in the same picture the do say "Grande crema".Not sure if this is just the same thing but packaged slightly differently, but if you order Grande Crema from Dolce Gusto a own website they are cleafly labelled. In any case, could the product listing be adjusted to a avoid confusion?** Edit ** After actually trying the Grande, it definitely isn't the same as the Grande Crema you can order from Dolce Gusto directly - its a stronger roast, and makes a bigger cup - excellent taste, but not the same thing (nice discovery though)

Best Cup o' Coffee
Although Dolce Gusto are expensive they really are a far superior cup of joe than instant or even ground coffee in a cafetiere. We've been through a few types now but it's Grande that we keep coming back to. It's a stronger taste than say the Americano or Lungo. In fact I believe you can buy a stronger version of Grande - if you really wanted kept up at night. It's got that great creamy top and with a tiny dash of milk it's really aromatic and flavourful. Recommended.

Genuine Grande
This pack of Dolce Gusto Grande contains only the genuine coffee (Arabica beans) and not any “crema” referred to in the product description. It contains 3 cartons with 16 capsules in each (48 total) and it is all rich black coffee. Normal milk could be added to make a flat white, but why do this with a coffee such as Grande - for true coffee lovers wanting it black.

OK - not as good as Americano
Was offered this as Americano, which I was getting, seemed to be discontinued (I've seen it around since) and had to buy 2 packs. Didn't want 2 packs and will cancel when they run out and try again for Americano as this is stronger and not to my taste.

Not really strong enough for me
I like the flavour of this coffee but if l use a decent size cup / mug then for me it's on the weak side. Use as a small espresso size and that's just acceptable. I've been trying the American bold morning coffee lately and thoroughly enjoy that
