I've used glycolic acid creams for years, and this surpasses all others. I used MD Formulations for several years, then they stopped supplying in the UK so I had to find an alternative. I used Jan Marini's Bioglycolic cream for a few months but it wasn't as effective and very expensive at £45 a pop. I've suffered from hormonal acne for years and have slight scarring. I've been using this cream for a couple of weeks and already I can see a difference in the scarring and any pimples that are appearing are disappearing a lot quicker and not getting swollen and infected. My one tip would be that a little goes a long way and really massage the cream in to ensure absorption. At first I used too much and it was a little oily. But don't be put off, it really is the best acne product I've used and I'm going to use this indefinitely. Great product.

I definitely concur with many user reviewers on here! Smell is painfully dreadful! BUT. And here's where I believe this product truly succeeds over it's one downfall. Ignoring the repugnant obnoxious smell. You really start to notice results pretty fast! I believe it's the antioxidant properties in Green Tea combined with soothing and smoothing Rosehip oil,. Jojoba and of course the generous 10 percent of Glycolic Acid that truly does benefit the skin! (Provided you know your tolerance toward acidic type serums and creams!) 10 percent is a bit too strong for me to use during the day. But I find that evening is best when my skin is more calmer. Oddly. Lol I've tried other glycolic peels. Creams and serums. And bottom line is. They all stink! Not as bad as this one perhaps. But there's a definite unappealing aroma that once you get a whiff of it. It truly is off putting and gag-inducing! Unfortunate that that appears to be the Worst side effect of this product which turns people's noses quick smart! In short; Initially I had some tender spots and redness crop up. But it was smoothed away in just over 2 days) I only really use this in the evening as I have very sensitive skin. I do believe it's working! And worth trying if you have exhausted all your other avenues in pursuit of healthier glowing skin! I recommend that you combine with an essential oil of an appeasing aroma! It may well counteract and diminish the foul smell that this gives off! I use a few drops of Sea Buckhorn with a little Sweet Almond oil. And it appears to greatly reduce the effect of the meaty aroma! Trial and error and exploration can surprisingly end up being your friend people! Good luck and i wish you healthy, glowing skin! :)

It is a lovely cream, did not break me out at all. Made my skin very smooth and soft. Not sure if it helped with anything else though. The one thing that really puts me off is the smell. It is horrible. I can feel it all day long as it lingers to your skin. I tried using it on my shoulders to help lighten up some dark spots and the smell was even absorbed by the clothes and was detectable, if someone would hug you or would be very close. Just because of that I will not be buying it again...

I bought this in the hope it would help with my spots, I'm 31..had acne when I was younger and although not as bad now I still get spots. I probably couldn't go more than a couple of days before a new one emerged and I'd still be trying to cover up the scars from the last ones. So feeling extremely fed up thought I'd go for it. It's literally the best thing I've ever done, I've been using it for about a month now and I think I've probably had 1 spot, a barely noticeable one and it cleared up straight away with no scarring. I agree with other reviews it does smell a bit like curry but you do get used to it after a while, my husband's never said anything about the smell so I don't think other people can smell it either. For the sake of having clear skin though I'd bathe in curry if it worked! Whether it would help someone with severe acne I dont know but I'd definitely say give it a go, with the small price tag you've got nothing to lose. It's the only thing I've ever tried that's worked and I've tried A LOT!

This face cream seems to be very heavy on the silicones. The texture of this cream is ultra slippery, and its never absorbed by the skin. I realised this product was giving me breakouts of painful spots, so I decided to stop using it on my face, and use it up on my body post shower, and around three hours later, my skin still has that glidey, feeling that tells me it's sat there, on the surface, just being all slippery and attracting any dust and dirt I happen to be near. I wouldn't dream of buying this product again.

I already knew that glycolic acid was used as an exfoliator and that johoba oil was the closest match to human skin sebum which is the stuff that keeps skin conditioned...this is what made me purchase this cream..it goes a long way and I've noticed some of my dry patches have disappeared...I've since bought a couple more for my mum and sister..I've used boots perfect range and feel this benefits my skin more..I use evening and morning leaving it 10 mins or so before applying any sunscreen and make up..hope this helps

I have milia and nothing would remove them but this product did and I am so grateful. Only used it once a day. Hasn't done anything for my wrinkles but will continue to use everyday.

Teste sie jetzt seit gut einer Woche und bin begeistert: meine Haut wirkt gesünder und ein Prickeln, wie ich es von anderen fruchtsäurehaltigen Cremes her kenne, tritt nicht auf. Der Geruch ist schwer zu beschreiben aber keinesfalls ranzig - eher etwas säuerlich und auf jeden Fall gut zu ertragen. Ich zumindest empfinde ihn nicht als störend und finde ihn besser als manch andere parfümierte Geruchsnote. Die Konsistenz ist sehr cremig und die Creme zieht bei mir auch gut ein, so dass ich sie sowohl abends als auch morgens nutzen kann. Obwohl erst eine Woche in Gebrauch, habe ich schon den Eindruck, dass sich Mitesser und & Co vermindern. Ich bin 40 Jahre und habe sehr große Poren und vor allem meine Nase ist, seit ich mich erinnern kann, immer schwarz gesprenkelt gewesen . Da heißt es für mich jetzt wohl noch abwarten, ob eine kontinuierliche Nutzung meinen ersten Eindruck bestätigt. Aktuell auf jeden Fall Daumen hoch!

My go to basic moisturizer for 8 years now. I brought this product for the first time when I was experiencing cystic acne and looking desperately for a moisturizer that would help prevent the acne and also provide some anti-wrinkle help. It helped tremendously. My acne all but disappeared permanently and this cream with glycolic acid smoothes and softens my facial skin, preparing it to take full advantage of the heavier moisturizing products I use on top of it. I first heard about Glycolic Acid from a co-worker of mine years ago--- she was in her late 30's, but didn't look a day over 25. She had told me that she's been using Glycolic Acid since she was 15. Now, I cannot contest to whether is was the acid cream that contributed to her youthful skin or her genic makeup--what I can contest to is the fact that I've been using this Toulon cream every night before bed for the past year and it has been doing wonders to my skin. Yes, you will be thrown off by the "Anti-wrinkle" text on the jar. I am 26 years old, I have no wrinkles...so why then are you using this product? For me, this is one of the best (well prices and works wonders) Glycolic Acid moisturizers on Amazon. The others I've tried, also being 10% GA (glycolic acid), would literally burn my face--leaving it red/pink for days. Yes, I have very sensitive, acne-prone skin--so it is really hard to find the right product out there. Throughout my Amazon search, I found this Toulon 10%GA cream-- strickly only wanting to use it for the 10% GA purpose... I put this on my face every night after coming out from the shower, but before going to bed. A thin layer on your face and neck is all you need. The moisturizer itself is very thick, so a little goes a long way. It does have a slight aroma to it, but it goes away after a few minutes. Gently massage this onto face for optimal results...the next morning, when you wake up, your skin will be as smooth as a baby's bottom. It's even helped minimize current acne, old scars, and those large pores on my nose. If you haven't tried this product, you should. And no, I did not receive this product for free--like most people, it's a strickly trial-and-error process of finding the right product for your face. Its the first thing people see in the morning, you better look good.
