Permanent Hair Colour Gel 3N Dark Chestnut Brown, Plant Enriched, Biobased, Ammonia Free, Long Lasting Grey Coverage and Radiant Colour, Nourishment and Protection

The application of this product was easy and it washed out well. I followed the instructions, timing the application. The smell is an earthy one compared to the overpowering chemical smell from the usual box dyes, but not unpleasant. My hair was shiny and felt stronger afterwards. The colour is rich, covered my greys and it doesn’t look dyed. My partner commented on the colour and shine of my hair. He said this is the best dye result I’ve used and I’ve used a lot of brands! For me, the colour was too dark. I chose the colour as I wanted a mid brown with neutral tone, but it came out black, very dark brown in the light. I will purchase this brand again but not this colour. I may try a lighter colour and see how that colour turns out. It didn’t irritate my scalp and is easy wipe away any product where it’s not needed.

I was surprised by how good this was. It itched a bit (I'm very sensitive, and used to using Apivita hair dye, which I can't find atm). But the end result was pretty good - it covered most of my roots, and I noticed my hair felt really soft and thick after using it. Will use again.

Best hair colour I’ve ever used, bar none! I started to go grey at 23 so at 50 I needed to avoid chemicals for health reasons but also I could not be bothered with dying it anymore, so I cut my long hair and started growing it out...only to find, two years later, that my grey is very uneven, starting from still brown at the top, then grey to white at the sides...kinda like Paulie from The Sopranos. Nice! The reason I’m telling you this is to give you an impression of what a challenge I was to this hair colour; in addition to the sporadic greys and whites, I’ve still got about an inch of what looks pretty black still, at the ends. I paint a gorgeous picture...one upside to lockdown. My problem has always been that my hair super-absorbs colour; my hairdresser would use light brown and it would look black. So, never having had the colour I wanted (always wanted a dark chocolate colour) and with four different colours on my poor old noggin, I approached this colour with very little hope....only to find my prayers answered! I now have chocolate brown hair, thanks to this fabulous product and the coverage has been excellent, with the very black ends only slightly noticeable, blending in well but of course they’ll be chopped off ASAP. The coverage on my pure white wings is phenomenal so I’ve just bought my next box. My confidence (and to be honest appearance!) is much improved and I’m absolutely delighted. I highly recommend this colour to you. I would just say that, based on the name of my colour, to probably choose a shade lighter than the colour you hope to achieve; I bought this expecting it to be quite dark and it is, although it has the chocolate tones rather than looking black, which is exactly what I want but if you’re looking for a lighter brown, based on this, I’d advise heading into the blonde colours. If you have lots of mid grey to white and want a dark chocolate colour then I’d say look no further and hope your experience is as positive as mine.🤞💞

I’ve been using for many years it’s the only hair colour I can use as I’m allergic to other hair dyes that contain parabens. I like the range of natural colours. Makes hair silky and shiny

I've been dying my roots for over two decades, and at least once or twice a year, I will do a full head of colour. I mixed an 8N with a 7.7 and 7G - and it was too light, the 7G through up A LOT of orange, and the 8N was too light as a base, I probably needed a 7N - it left my greys very translucent / orange. This was the first time using this brand, and I probably won't use it again - it's completely dried my hair out. It feels stripped of natural moisture and very straw like even after I've covered it in conditioner. I usually go for a L'Oreal 7.11 which is great for neutralising the orange tones, but a bit too dull for enhancing those lovely warm tones you get with natural chestnut hair.

Love it! I dont like tints that leave a red cast on my hair, this leaves a lovely ash gloss, and it lasts a lot longer than other box colours

Pros: I was looking for a dye that didn't make my scalp tingle and itch (something that Clairol Nice 'n Easy was starting to cause more and more). I opted for a this less harsh version and it caused no reaction whatsoever. Leaving it on for the recommended time felt very 'comfortable' and it covered my greys very well. Cons: However, the hole in the nozzle tip is smaller than I am used to, making application more tedious and actually gave me hand cramp on several occasions. It also takes longer to wash out and others have commented on the unusual smell (not unpleasant but very 'earthy'). I also noticed that greys started to peep out after a few weeks - this dye doesn't hold for very long on the roots.

This product is great especially if you have sensitive skin! I have sensitive skin, try to use as natural products as possible & have multiple allergies etc. I am celiac so very important I be gluten free. This product i have used several times, the scent is very light in comparison to other products and hasn't bothered me yet and my skin felt a little burny/itchy first time i did it but went away very quickly and after that I was fine. It covers my greys(which I've had greys since my teens, a genetic thing) & I really recommend this product. It doesn't last a super long time it starts to fade a bit after a month and after about two months is out and i wash my hair a few times a week at most so it doesn't last as long maybe as chemical products bht that is fine as it is worth it to me since it doesn't bother my skin, uses more natural ingredients and the smell isn't atrocious like most hair dyes and it does cover it great! I continue to use this product and typically redo it every 2-4 months.

Great hair dye, have been using only this for years now, also during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It does not smell at all and has most infrefients natural. Never had any problrms. The only disadvantage is that it only lasts around 1 month and then i have to reapply it
