Perfect replacement FOB key for my 2014 Honda CRV EX. The old factory Honda key would start the car just fine, but the remote door opening function had died (electronically, not just from a bad battery). I brought this AMAZON key to a reputable locksmith and had it cut to fit my car’s ignition/door locks ($20), and then had them program the remote function professionally ($80). In mnutes i had a brand new Honda FOB KEY that works perfectly. Please note as mentioned in other feedback posts, the red car locator/alarm does not work with this aftermarket FOB key, but pressing that button does specifically unlock the rear door hatch….pretty cool. Price for dealer replacement, $325. Price to have locksmith replace fob, cut, program and provide guarantee was $195. Total cost including AMAZON key was ~$100….still a great savings. Excellent deal.

I dropped my key fob for my 2015 Honda Fit. The alarm remote stopped working. When I called my local Honda dealer they quoted me about $300 for a new key and reprogramming. This key is a bargain, although you still need to take it to a locksmith to be cut and programmed (cost me $165), it is a lot cheaper than going through Honda... And it works just fine!

Works for my 2018 Honda Fit. Highly recommended.

Bought this to replace original key that came with the car. The P/N matched what was shown and the key looks nearly identical. Programming did not work. Tried many times. Just go to a locksmith. They will get you either coming or going, but seems there are no other options. I am done with all this do-it-yourself and then throw it away crap.

Had the key cut and programmed by a locksmith and found that the red panic button would not function. Lock/unlock worked. Did not return because I would have to pay again for cutting and programming. Do Not Buy if you want the panic button to function.But, the business reached out and provided a refund. So, revising this to a good review since they stood behind the product and made up for the issue.

They had to cut and program the key at Honda dealership and charged $85 to do so. Had I bought just the key from Honda it was $110 plus another $85 to cut and program-so this saved some money.The only thing that didn't work was the red panic alarm button-as has been noted by others.

I took the blank key to a locksmith to cut the key and program it. They cut it without issue. It also programmed okay except the panic button doesn't set off the horn, it unlocks the trunk. The trunk unlocks when the doors are unlocked, so this is a totally useless feature.The locksmith offered to open up the fob, to see why that was happening and if it could be fixed, but it wasn't worth it. I have never intentionally used the panic feature, so it wasn't important to me.

This was cheap enough and does what it is supposed to do after the old one quit.
