My 2 year old granddaughter enjoys listening to the stories and music. Her parents are grateful for an alternative to computer screens and to return to a time tested method for keeping young children entertained. While she is too young to read along, she enjoys the story books that are included and can easily operate the toy solo.

The device has two volume settings, and both are inappropriately and obnoxiously loud for a child's hearing level and the distance they use it. I searched all the reviews for this information, so I'm surprised it's actually bad, and even more surprised there are no reviews that mention the problem.
