ImusaUSA 3 Piece Natural Aluminum Caldero Set (1.6/3.2/4.6 Quart), Silver

Granted, I have only cooked in them once. I made a pea/rice mixture and it cooked up beautifully. The sizes are appropriate for my lifestyle. Most pot sets have at least one item that I will never use. However, I can see myself using all 3 of these. In fact, I could do away with my other pots and skillets and just use these.My one complaint is that the label says it is oven safe, except for the ones with plastic parts. I believe the knob on the lid is not oven safe. An oven safe knob would turn a great pot set into an amazing pot set.As for weight, they have a decent weight to them. I wouldn’t call them heavyweight, but they are not what I call lightweight. I don’t care for really lightweight pots and pans.As for appearance, they are kind of unpolished. Maybe that’s a feature of this particular price point? I don’t know. They would be nicer with a bit of polish and probably be more stain resistant on the outside of the pot. They already look a bit rustic and old. I like old things, but if you are into shiny new looking things, these pots might not be for you.

This product is wonderful. Very thick and easy to clear. I bought this for my mom and she loves it. I’m planning to buy more for gift.

COOKS EVENLY AND VERY EASY TO CLEAN

Being from a Mexican family I grew up with these and let me tell you something my mom still has yours just think about that one and that's been almost32 years she had one now I can say she tells me Mijo in Spanish were did I got them ,I know I can relay on this company and you know it's Mexicans we love to cook especially texMex food ... Very well built if you look at their aluminum they look cheap but I guarantee it try it you'll turn into a Mexican too.lol

This is an excellent set and the main reason I purchase it because a family member has given me a medium size Imusa "Olla" to cook Spanish "arroz con gandules". As the family grew up, I needed a larger set, since I only had one "olla" to cook, BTW the term "olla" is used to describe a metallic container, half moon in shape used for cooking Latin American dishes, one of the favorites called "arroz con gandules". A "caldero" is cylindrical in shape with one long handle and is used for cooking stews or soups, or things that need boiling for long periods of time.

I like that they are easy to clean. I don't like the fact they don't have protection on the handles to prevent burning your hands. You must use oven mitts to pick up the hot pot by the handles. I love using the larger pot when I make homemade Puerto Rican rice & beans. There are three sizes at a great price. I use them often for various family meals. Great value.

El grosor es bueno, calidez es Buena, fácil de limpiar no tanto ya que se ralla y algunos alimentos se pegan, pero estando pendiente hace el trabajo muy bien... el único problema que tiene es la asa donde se sostiene la tapa, ese material es muy malo se quiebra rápido, De no ser por eso pasa la prueba con toda las estrellas, Pero realmente hace bien el trabajo.

They are really similar like Colombia's calderos but lack of quality. The material is not excellent but it works properly.
