The perfect finishing salt.
I used to live in Spain and discovered Fleur de Sel in a specialty shop. I love the Mediterranean way of cooking. Food must be of the highest quality and fresh. Then, it’s cooked in a way that brings out its natural flavor and enhances it. The taste is never covered up. A light, flaky, mild salt is the perfect way to finish that type of dish. Whether it’s steak, fish or vegetables, basically you just use a bit of salt, sometimes pepper and some olive oil (drizzled on after cooking). Finishing with a sprinkle of Fleur de Sel just elevates the dish to perfection. Something so simple yet so amazing! When I moved to the US, I sampled some Fleur de Sel from different companies, but they weren’t the same. The crystals were not flaky (even though they were described as such on the package), way too heavy and sometimes way too salty. Even the same exact brand I used to buy in Europe wasn’t the same. Then I found this one and was in heaven again. This salt is light, flaky and mildly salty. The perfect finishing salt and the reason I fell in love with this amazing condiment in the first place. Definitely 5 stars.

Expensive but worth it.
I saw how this salt was made on a documentary and had to have some, I was not disappointed, fantastic for roasts and fish. I now use this as gifts for friends and family.

SEA SALT FLAKES OR A BALL OF PRODUCT. POOR POOR SHIPPING OR PRODUCT
This product was unusable Sub-standard. It is not right to have a big ball and some clumps when you expect the finest Sea Salt Flakes. My husband likes to bake so I got this item for him. We opened the soft but tape-secured lid to find this mess. I don't trust the product. Also everyone, the "spoon" that appears in the photos and helped me decide to try this brand as a gift is misrepresented. It is tiny and of no substance. It will be lost right away. Very very disappointed. It's not returnable but it should be refundable. A worthless product and experience.

spoon not included
Salt is included but spoon is not. We have ordered this twice and the spoon was never included as advertised.

Awesome for using in homemade ice cream
Salt isn't just salt people. I've done a lot of research about the quality of salts. This one has a nice subtle taste great for baking and making homemade ice cream. Love the little spoon as well. Just the right size as this salt is for occasional use.

French British Connection
I bought this Fleur de Sel Sea Salt because of the French British connection plus it came with a wooden salt spoon. Even the Amazon video for the product had a guy speaking in a French/British accent. In fact the guy sounded like French football journalist and broadcaster Julien Laurens.
