Disappointed.
I had a couple of this group's records many years ago, and recently decided to buy these more recent releases. The reviews were glowing. I was very disappointed. The album itself has a lot of music on it, and is good quality, but I found the music monotonous and boring compared to those old albums. Other than the singer's voice, nothing about this album reminded me of the music I found innovative and soulful back then.

If you like Simply Red get this...its great as you get 2 albums. All the favourite SR classics + their latest album Big Love. Saw Simply Red this summer and the performance was ace! These tracks will get you singing along & will lift your spirit...enjoy!

Not bad for a sampler
As you might expect if you are a Simply Red fan. However, I was a bit disappointed in the recording quality. Non the less, a reasonable stsarter if you want to get into Simply Red and Mick Hucknell's lyrics.
