I read the reviews- some people complained they couldn’t get the lids on. Paint lids need a rubber mallet not your fingers and the same goes with these. They are easy to attach that way and as you can see from the photo very secure. I will be buying another set. No more rusty dried out metal paint cans!

I purchased these to put my extra paint in from all our house projects over the years. They were the perfect size and extremely durable. They stacked well in the box and the lids snapped down tight to ensure no leaking. I put a little paint splotch on the top of the lid to show the color. Dried perfectly with no smearing. Exceptional product very easy to use and great value for the money.

The lid is impossible to close by hand; you must use a hammer -- preferably a rubber mallet. It's a hassle if you are painting from the can, and want to close it between coats. But once the lid is closed, it's very secure.I don't know why the manufacturer can't make a plastic can like the ones that some paints come in. Those are easy to seal.

I have had a number of touch up paints ruined due to rust from storage in plastic quart cans with steel lids. These cans are all plastic so no chance of rust. They seal well and easily in seconds with a rubber mallet. They open easily without damage using a standard paint can opener. These are the best alternative to metal paint cans or plastic cans with metal lids that I have found. I tried screw cap alternatives and found they either leaked liquid or air, or became impossible to unscrew over time.

I bought these to hold the remainder of gallons of paint. They work really well, create a very good seal, and are easy to open. Now I can store remains of paint in containers that 1: don;t contain a lot of air, and 2: Can be enclosed and sealed in plastic bags to increase the safety and shelf life of remains of these liquids. I would not advise these for anything caustic like mineral spirits that could eat the plastic but I am very happy with these. I can also use them for any other liquid, or anything else I want to keep isolated and sealed from the air, like glue, epoxy's or other things that can dry out if exposed to the open air.

These close tightly and surely. I keep the paint in the basement in a relatively climate controlled place. Gone are the days of rust in the paint. A really great product.

These containers were exactly what I needed to store my paint.

Ordered this product for a paint project to have to trim and store paint. None of the lids will actually close. Total garbage. Very frustrated. Tried all 6. they don't work. Cannot close, completely useless
