I have always admired the look of the Converse Chuck Taylor Low's, I am a pretty generic in style. I understand the risk and the expectations that come with buying an all white shoe, however these looked good enough to risk it and the price is reasonable.**PICTURES TO COME**Upon opening the box I was extremely disappointed. It looked to me as if someone had worn these shoes for a couple days, boxed them up, and shipped them my way. I know what to look for in the appearance of a brand new shoe, bought from the manufacturer, and these were far from it. There was dirt all over the heal and sole of the shoe, along with scuffs running on the toe. For this reason I recommend buying these from the converse website, that will be my next step once I am issued a refund...it sucks to have to pay for shipping but I would rather do that and receive a pair of TRULY white Chuck Taylors

I have purchased many pairs of Chucks over the years and was pretty disappointed with this pair. Within weeks the bottoms of the shoes started detaching, and the left shoe had already worn through on the bottom. At first I thought it was because of my job where I am constantly on my feet. Based on the many reviews here stating these are fakes, I ordered another pair directly from Nike/Converse and the new pair did not have the same problems.I cannot say for certain that these are fakes. I've previously purchased pairs from Amazon that lasted years and never had a reason to suspect they were anything but legitimate Converse. In the future, however, I will purchase directly from Nike/Converse.

Ok, the Iconic Chuck Taylor's, there's little else that must be said about them. Having a long history these shoes have been worn by generations as they gather a cult following. This is the 5th set of Check's that I have owned and know that when I buy them they will fit as I expect and be built with quality. I have been earing these in the low-top style since I was 13 and will never stop as they match my style perfectly.I've always work these in the low-top style and have loved them as I would my first born child. They fit have always been perfect with no perceivble variance over the years. It's been probably the only shoe that I've been able to go out and buy without tying on to make sure that it fits. Their soles are perfectly matched between grip and durability producing a shoe that won't slip while lasting. They are easy to keep clean no matter how dirty they get and make for the perfect ight weight footwear as they allow for freh dry air to paass through. Over the years their price has steadily risen but for this shoe I think that the the price is worth it.With a wide variety in both low and high-top in various colors and prints this shoe is matched to anybody's peronal taste. I've been buying this exact shoe for over 30 years and plan on doing it for another 30. If you're buying this shoe you are most probably familiar with it. It's the best for a reason. This is squarerly in my "CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT" caategory.

They run large. They are way to expensive for what they offer. It’s a really basic , old school shoe

I never thought that I would like the way these shoes look on me. I bought these shoes primarily to wear to the gym for weightlifting. These are my first pair of high-tops EVER and I was pleasantly surprised to find that I absolutely LOVE these sneakers! I wear them all the time and they look good with nearly everything. They totally live up to the hype. Fantastic!

These Chucks are legit! I've always been a fan of Chuck T's and it's pretty much the only shoe I'll wear besides trainers for working out. I've had this pair for almost 3 years now and they're still in great shape, they still look brand new with a wipe down here and there. For 2 years straight I traveled around the world with one pair of these Chucks and they held up, I've been through all kinds of terrain, every weather scenario you can think of and they held up. Go ahead and treat yourself to some Chucks...you won't regret it!

This is probably my tenth or so pair of converse. My last pair was literally falling apart when I purchased these. The soul was falling off. Reminded of those 80s and 90s movies where the kids have their shoes duct taped together. Unfortunate I wear these to work sometimes (I work in finance) so nonduct tape allowed. So new pair :). Converse are always high quality, these have been as expected so far.

These are not real Converse, having checked the markings and labels against the real ones when I began to have issues with them.I give them two stars because they are pretty good quality fakes and if they had fit properly, I probably would have kept them. However, the shoes are much narrower than the originals and did not give with use. This caused my feet real pain, to the point that I could not walk in them for more than a few minutes.If you have narrower feet and don't mind that these are not quite the real deal, then you may be happy with them. Otherwise, I do not recommend.

I have had the for over a year now. They have spent most of those months in storage due to living elsewhere.I have come to use them and they are discoloured and are more of a cream than a white colour.I will go direct to Converse next time.

A classic. Always end up coming back to these after a number of years. You know exactly what you are getting with Chuck Taylor's. The only reasons for not giving them 5 stars, the 'All Star' patch on the rear sole is lower than usual, so I give it two weeks before they fall off & my laces came with pulls in them.

I read the reviews after paying and was worried. These look and feel like the real thing. Box, content and wrapping were all of the expected high quality.
