American made and good quality. Do not overtighten.
I tried several of the stainless ones which I could not get to seal well. With this type of fitting you need to get it just tight enough. If you over tighten it will be unusable and will leak. I have been there and done that. The best approach is to tighten hand tight, making sure it is nice and lined up, and use a wrench to go no more than a half turn beyond that. Turn on the water, and if you have a leak gently tighten 1/4 turn at a time until the leak stops. Do not turn too far as that will make it leak and you will need a new one.You may get a little wet, but be careful and patient. The connectors often fail before the water tank - I think it might be the washer. This is something you can do if you are a little handy. Turn off the heater and the cold water supply, open a lower level tap and then drain enough water from the tank so you can undo the fitting without getting too wet. When you remove the old part use a wrench to brace the pipe - there is a place for that and keep that wrench still, and use the other wrench to remove the fitting - do the same at the tank.

It's a one time bend!
Very well made and easy to install, but you aren't going to bend it over and over. It'll break.

Super stiff and warning label says "do not bend"
I'm not sure I understand why this product exists. I was expecting a flexible connection that was the same metal as my house plumbing so that I could avoid corrosion without having to use PVC. The connectors are extremely stiff, barely more flexible than just straight copper tubing. The label says "Do not bend or kink connector excessively" so it sounds to me like they are not very confident in their product. Also it showed up bent so they could fit it in a smaller box. Am I responsible for the underpaid warehouse worker's handling of a product that claims it is sensitive to bending?

Then the water smelled like tin. Then I put this pipe on and ...
Had an old pipe leak at the joint on my water heater. Got a replacement pipe, a braided steel thing from a big box store. When I put that pipe on a lot of black stuff came out through my plumbing and out a sink (also out the pipe connection), I think it may have been the rubber washer that burned up or something else in the pipe. Then the water smelled like tin. Then I put this pipe on and no more black, no more tin smell! easy to flex and easy to connect! This pipe fixed my water heater problem

Wow! Unbelievable!!!
I ordered the Plumb Shop Brasscraft WB00-12 Flex Heater Connector and was totally amazed what came! A hose with a connector on one end and it’s opposite side cut and crimped shut. I was expecting one 12” typical water heater hose with connectors on both ends but got a 6” totally useless remnant. I will reorder and not worry about paying extra from another company.

Great Item - Awful Shipping
This connector is well made and does its job as intended. However, Amazon's shippers need to be trained properly. The shipper bent one of the hoses I received 90 degrees. The bend was a sharp bend as if they used the end of a table to bend it. Straightening it left a crimp in the hose. I called Amazon and they are sending me a replacement. The lady I spoke to said she would notify shipping of the problem.

Copper flex is best
Good quality product. Fixed my problems with black specks in the hot water caused by Shark Bite connector hoses. Do not overtighten, and use teflon tape on the threads prior to installation.
