I got this for my girls ballet hair, and it works perfectly. It helps create a clean, secure bun without a ton of fuss. I really like this little set. It comes with two small donuts, two medium donuts and two very large donuts and also comes with a so styling comb/pick thing And includes gold bobby pins that are the good kind and beige ponytail holders. Everything you need to do your hair up in a bun with every size and shape donuts. Has a lot of different ways to style your hair with these, I would highly recommend.

These work great! My daughter is a bit picky about her hairstyles. But this made it easy for her to do her double bun hairstyle on her own.

This is great for any parent that has a daughter that does dance. These make it super easy to do buns for dance or just to have a creative way to do hair would definiately reconnend them

I’m really happy with the quality of the set. I wasn’t expecting much, but the hair ties and bobby pins are nice quality and are the ideal size and shape for the donuts. The donuts themselves work really well, and having different size options is helpful. I’m also pleased with the included comb. I have no complaints about any of it. I give it 5 stars.

The actual sock buns are fine. The bobby pins stretched out really easily and they’re not a very thick metal. The comb broke the first time I used it. The metal came right out of the hilt.

My daughter has chin length hair, but needed a bun for a ballet recital. The doughnut method had been recommended by YouTube videos and friends with daughters. I had originally found and bought one in a hurry at the Dollar Tree and it was okay. But this year I found this set with multiple sizes and lots of French pins, plus the comb with the very long sectioning handle. It was perfect!! Now, I won't lie to you...I still needed a LOT of hair products. I used a powder hair thickener at the roots, a styling putty to slick her hair back, and spray gel to keep her baby fine hair from sticking up. Plus, after I had the doughnut around her ponytail, I used the comb the tease her ponytail before pinning it to the doughnut. And still needed tiny bobby pins for the tiny baby hairs at the back of her neck. But she had a performance in the morning and one in the evening, and that sucker stayed perfect ALL DANG DAY. Even though she fell asleep in the car after the first performance.
