I recently mounted the Holosun HE509T on my Glock 47, and I couldn’t be happier with the setup. The installation was straightforward, and it fit perfectly without any issues. The red dot is bright, clear, and easy to acquire quickly, which makes target transitions smooth and fast. I’ve used it for both range sessions and dry-fire practice, and it’s incredibly reliable. The sight holds zero perfectly, even after repeated shooting, and the battery life is impressive. I also appreciate the rugged build—it feels solid and durable, exactly what I want on a handgun. If you’re looking for a dependable, high-quality red dot for your Glock, the Holosun HE509T is an excellent choice. It’s made my shooting more precise and enjoyable.

Received the sight nicely packaged and protected. Fit and finish on my example was perfect, no extra glue or debris ocluding the lenses. The glass is pretty good; comparable to my RMR with a bit less blue chromatic aberration. The sight works well with gen 3 night vision. I have an astigmatism, the reticles all look very clear. All in all this is a spectacular sight. As long as it holds up for the long haul it's tough to beat. I can't think of a better option to piggy back on an LVPO, and I do own Aimpoint products as well.

Solid red eye, but may negate your sights, the red eye is high if your sights are low or even medium like mine. Otherwise, perfect red eye. Holds zero, doesn't flinch if you use it as the rack slide. sight it at 15 or 20 meters, or yards, go home, sleep well. This thing self charges with sunlight, so spend time outside with your gun. Day at the range, less batteries. Clearly, bullets cost more than batteries. Adjust to your finances. If you cannot afford bullets or batteries, you are in the wrong review. But possibly have the right gun? Turn yourself in. PS. Using this with an M&P 10 MM Performance Center pistol. Cast your hate aside, this works.

I installed this on a new Glock 9–my first pistol. I took a basic shooting course and the instructor helped me align the indicator (I like the dot) for accuracy. This fits nicely into the mounting on the gun and is easily seen when aiming at the target. I’m still in the rookie stage of learning to shoot a hand gun, but I can see where using a gun without a unit like this would make the task more difficult. This one’s a winner!

This has really helped my shooting but it does have a learning curve if you’re used to fixed sights. It took a little getting used to however the twin reticle helps me with shots further down range. Have it on my Glock 40 MOS 10mm gen 4. It replaced an older, more expensive red dot. I like the green as it’s easier on the eyes (for me). Mostly I do indoor range target shooting. I have a few other Holosun sights & they’re all good but I like this one best. It’s very rugged, versatile & the enclosure is worthy also, keeps the crap out. I like that I can mount it on some of my other firearms & also can be as usable on a shotgun.
