Very good tablet/laptop!

Update:Been using this for about a month. It's a very cool device. Bought a used Sandisk extreme plus 128 gb SD card, and tried putting everything on it -apps, etc... At first it didn't recognize the sd card so I uninstalled Intel SD Host Controller (device manager > SD host adapter > SD host controller), then restart. That's it. After formatting in NTFS, you can install as many apps as you like in the sd card (some apps need to be installed in the hard drive). This device is for light duty only. I really enjoyed using it. When on my lap, I press the drawing button On to turned off the keyboard function so I can rest my hands on the keyboard without activating keys, and use the pen to scroll on the screen when reading. Try it, it's comfy.Hopefully Lenovo keeps on improving it. They did a great job in the form and weight factor.Tips:1. You can adjust for faster performance (control panel > system and security > system > advance system settings > Advance > Performance > settings). I chose custom, and only check the first 2 boxes.2. install Touch Me gesture studio. Very useful for customize gestures.3. Don't forget to first update it to Windows 10 creators update-----------------------------I just had the windows version few days ago, and so far I'm loving it very much :). Very portable tablet/laptop. My main uses is for tablet but also want the versatility of a laptop. I love the 360 degree angle of yoga. You can position it anyway you like. No need to buy a separate stand. As soon as I got it, I right away installed windows 10 Creators update (it takes a while to finish download and installation. Don't put your pc to sleep). I notice the screen rotation was not working after the updates, so I checked the sensors and uninstalled Broadcom driver that has ! (exclamation) on it (control panel>device manager>sensor>Broadcom), then restart the pc. Problem solved!Typing doesn't bother me much (except the sound it makes when typing. Don't know how to turn it off), since I don't type much. Haven't used the drawing/pen much, so can't comment on that. Battery life is wonderful! The sound is very good, better than my surface pro! I'm planning to use this device for light uses only mainly to consume. This is not for heavy duty stuff. The only cons so far are:1. I wish it's only 1lbs. or less2. Would be nice to write on screen with palm rejection similar to my surface pro33. options for better, faster processors4. doesn't have fast chargingBought this for $370. I wouldn't mind paying more if they make the device faster similar to Surface :)

Good for students, not so great for professional work.

I’ve had this laptop for a couple of days now and have a good idea of its pros and cons. Here they are:Pros:-Light yet durable: As a student who’s constantly on the move, this thing has handled bouncing around in my backpack like a champ.-I LOVE drawing with it. The pen is incredibly responsive (this can also be a con, however.)-It’s really great for taking notes.-It converts to a tablet with no fuss and feathers.-It’s lovely for streaming videos and browsing the web.-I’m a web design student and coding actually goes pretty smoothly!Cons:-The Halo Keyboard looks cool but definetly isn’t practical for writing essays (students beware! I was lucky I trusted my instinct and bought a Bluetooth keyboard to replace it).-The laptop’s sleep feature seems to be broken or glitched. Despite my power settings, I always have to use the power switch after just 5-10 minutes of inactivity.-I draw for fun- if you’re a serious artist, I’d look at other options. The stylus is good, but not as good as my Wacom Tablet Stylus. Also, the laptop occasionally lags, even when using a not-so-demanding software like Sketchbook.-Storage- you’ll want to buy a micro SD card. Conclusion: It’s a great laptop for students and casual artists, but professionals should maybe look elsewhere.

Lovely (with update)

Absolutely charming bit of industrial design. I purchased as a road sysadmin machine, for those moments when you have to be somewhere you cannot possibly take a laptop but also have to fix the thing on the server, right now stat. So I'm not running heavy apps: slickedit, winscp, Cygwin ssh, and navicat database admin tools, plus office and outlook. I'm also using it as a library computer, with the tablet camera, Zotero, OneNote, Calibre, Kindle and Word.I did not purchase this as a primary computer. The keyboard did not seem nearly as bad as many commercial reviews led me to believe. It is not, of course, the wonder and efficiency of a real ThinkPad keyboard, and it is mainly great for being small and doing what it must when it must. The screen is 224 ppi, which obviates against the "netbook" feel. Works a charm as an e-reader, and of course being Windows you can use 3rd party readers to access the content of your choice :}****UpdateI added a wedge keyboard and a good Bluetooth mouse (total exp: $90) and that really made the tablet, as the keyboard keeps the 10.1 footprint in my bag and is very nice typing indeed.Split digitizer works remarkably well on OneNote and seems sustainable for long note-taking sessions. Lack of eraser is the only truly vile aspect. MS has improved the default OneNote though, and a small top of page bar with eraser present is available. The nice aspect -- after taking many thousands of pages of notes with on-screen Wacom pens -- is that you can easily scroll and move using your fingers on the display, and keep your writing zone on the digitizer to a fairly narrow range. While I'd still prefer my Canvas Z in a classroom, this would totally work.Long term work can be accomplished by flipping into the "stand" configuration and employing external mouse and portable Bluetooth keyboard. While not ideal it is possible to be quite productive, so configured. If I were stuck with this as an only computer, those would be my must have purchases.Every bit as gorgeous as the iPad which accompanies it everywhere, extremely light weight, and beautifully designed.
