I had a lot of family over during the holidays and these bowls were perfect from meals and snacks and gave me more time to spend with them than in the kitchen washing dishes! They are sturdy and hold a good amount of food!

I sometimes buy the Amazon Basics plates and bowls that appear to be made by Dixie (may or may not be, I never checked). Those are actually good and seem like Dixie. However, if the price point on Dixie is similiar I'll just go for Dixie.

I'm thankful for both products and even more importantly, my cats love them too. For a special occasion, I sometimes add unsalted natural cooking broth https://www.amazon.com/Swanson-Unsalted-Broth-Chicken-Packaging/dp/B01J38CP6Q/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?s=pet-supplies&ie=UTF8&qid=1528484678&sr=8-1&keywords=swansons+no+salt+broth instead of water. Our cats have beautiful soft bunny coats. They get their can a day of soft pate & then I use the Science Diet Dry Cat Food for if they want a treat in between meals. Of course catnip 3x's a week doesn't hurt either! Anyhow, the point is, this combination of food and bowls has worked perfectly for the health and happiness of my cats and me! I love these little bowls and keep them near snacks to encourage not walking around with a handful of nuts or chips LOL
