Moen SR2100OWB Shower Curtain Rings, Pack of 12, Old World Bronze

RUST RUST RUSTMoen, how could you take your excellent brand name and attach it to junk like this? After a few years use, they've rusted beyond recognition. There are 17 other reviews that say the same.The description says, "...Anti-rust lubricant helps prevent rust". They either need to better lubricants or change their advertising. The metal used rusts too easily. No lubricant is going to save this pot metal. Very disappointed that Moen allows this to happen.

I bought these a few month ago to replace my old curtain rings. They are very easy to install and the brushed nickel finishing combines perfectly with the rest of the appliance in the shower. I consider this little detail as a great update in our bathroom.

Bought them for the name but they are nothing like my oil rubbed bronze Moen faucets and accessories. I took them out of the package and they were covered in an oily substance. I soaked them in Dawn, used Lysol wipes and rubbing alcohol but nothing got rid of that sticky. Had to send them back because it turned the hook opening on my white shower curtain black. Just gross. I love the design and the color but not this particular product. I wish I would have listened to the reviews and saved myself a ton of work and hassle.

Don't know how to appropriately rave over shower curtain rings, so I'll just keep it simple and say these are in the "so far, so good" category. I bought a Moen kitchen faucet a couple of months ago and it's great; figured with their success in faucets, they couldn't mess up shower curtain rings too much. These replaced cheap-o chrome rings that were rusting badly. I'm hoping these live up to their rust-proof billing. They slide easily and I like the brushed nickel finish. I'm learning in my middle age that sometimes it's better to spend a little more on quality than to do things on the cheap and, by having to replace more often, end up spending more!

I like that it's relatively minimalist. Well made, and sturdy. It's a little annoying having to deal with the latch/hook to get them on the shower rod, but once it's up there and on, they're ON there. I got these to replace the kind that had open hooks. Those were extremely annoying because if I ever roughly opened the shower curtain, one would invariably fall off. So given that, in fine with putting a bit of extra work into getting these rings on/off the rod.

Ordered two sets of these shower rings and they showed up outside of packaging, all 24 loose rings thrown into a large envelope. Inside envelope was 2 small plastic Moen wrappers. It makes it look like they’re Moen but you can’t tell for sure because it’s all separated and loose. In addition, the rings were wet and oily when you separate the claspers to install the shower curtain. It looks like they were in a flood or something and salvaged.JUST GROSS. Zero quality control on this sale.

I ordered these based on the Moen name and was surprised at how cheap-looking they were upon arrival. As I hooked it through my shower curtain and liner I immediately noticed that it left a rust on the cloth of my outer curtain. I pulled it off an looked at it closely. The balls are a nice bronze finish but the wire, especially the area that opens and closes has a horrible finish. I have attached a photo. I placed it on a white surface and you can see the "dust" that comes off of the ring in the photo. If you were just using a plastic shower liner this may not bother you as much. I can't speak to how the rings perform on the rod because I stopped pulling them from the package after the first one.

I would like to return these but with an ongoing home project, I am two months past the return date, by the time I got to installing the rod. The first one snapped in my hands, as I tried to open it. With something that is supposedly 'metal' one would expect that I could open it slowly and it would respond. Nope. It just snapped off, not even at a width that would go around the MOEN shower rod. Quality is as poor as a lot of the postings say. I tried to use the MOEN link, here, for customer support, but the email will only accept a Canadian province and zip code as it is a link for moen.ca. Huh?

Very disappointment in the quality of this Moen product. I have all Moen products (shower/sink faucets & towel bars, tension shower curtain rod) in my bathroom,which are all great. The first pack of rings arrived in a stapled plastic bag. While putting the first few on the curtain rod, two of them broke at the weld. I was going to return and the Amazon instructions suggested I called Moen. I did and was sent a replacement pack. The rings arrived loose in a plastic envelope with the package they should have come in split open (again stapled shut). I put the first one on and it too broke the same as the first pack. Even if I could get 12 on without breaking, I do wash my shower curtain each month and suspect they will eventually break being taken on and off. For $19 shower curtain rings from Moen, I expect much more. These will be going back.

I ordered 12 rings and I got an open package of 11 wet, slimy rings. There was no label. It looked like a paper label that was stapled on the bag was ripped off. I peeled the sticker and the brand said "Inspirations by MOEN". I had to rip the sticker to make sure this was by MOEN. Does not feel like MOEN quality. The rings were also wet and slimy. GROSS!!! I scrubbed my hands with soap for a good minute. There was a piece of hair in the rings too. I clearly got a used gross product. Very disappointed.

Happy with new Moen SR2100BN Shower Curtain Rolling Rings, they are nice in appearance and roll very easily - even over shower curtain rod speed bump. Not incredibly fancy but fancy was not what I was looking for in my shower curtain holders. Will update this review if for some reason I am not happy after reasonable use.

Je m’attendais à un nickel poli de meilleur qualité mais, les crochets sont fonctionnels quoiqu’ils se retournent parfois sur eux-mêmes. J’aime moins comment il faut les ouvrir pour les placer sur la pôle...ce n’est pas facile sur les doigts.

We had our entire bathroom renovated in May 2019 using all Moen faucets and hardware.We really liked the sleek and modern lines of their products.However, these Moen shower curtain rings rusted so badly that they snapped in half recently while soaking in a gentle vinegar / dish soap solution for simple cleaning.Save your money!I wish we had , but we bought 2 packs x12 each. ;(
