Great antenna for EMCOMM
Used this for an exercise of our local ARES group. Performed flawlessly. I have a second at home that covers 160-6, and it works equally as well. Did not have to resort to an external tuner.

cheaply built at best, the wire was good though.
Not at all happy with the balun, it is built very cheaply and was constructed internally using very cheap hot glue which degraded rather quickly. I've had it in service for a month and I am replacing it due to normal wear and tear.

My antenna worked ok, the box the torroid was put in is junk. Th
Put up as a sloper. Tuner in my IC7300 handled most of 40-10. 6 meters no tune, the box the matching circuit is in has 2 small screws with a wing nut, the hardware pulled theough the box. It is now messed up. Very disappointed with it. I could not suggest it except maybe for a POTA or similar. Harvesy needs to fix this issue.

Works on 10, 12, 17, and fair on 20 meters. Worthless above 20 meters.
There are several problems with this antenna. To start:1) With the 9:1 unun, it should be an EFHW antenna, which would have 20m, or about 64' ft of long wire for the antenna. This only comes with about 32 feet of wire - which is 1/2 wavelength of 10 meter (which it works well on).2) It includes no counterpoise wire, which is necessary if you do not have a long coax (which should have an arrestor).3) The hot glue inside the box came off right away. Had to fix it.4) You MUST have an EXTERNAL antenna tuner for this. So, what you get for $40, is most of an antenna that is good on 10 meters, 12 meters, 15 meters, and 17 meters; It has an SWR of about 2.3 on 20 meters - and increases the lower you go down 20 meters. On 40 meters, it's trash. Won't work - even with a counterpoise. You might as well just get a good 9:1 unun fixed inside a decent box, then put 66'ft of #14AWG stranded black wire tied to an insulator. For the counterpoise, you can use about 33ft of the black #14 wire (connect to ground or let it hang - or bury it under 6 inches of soil). You also MUST have an EXTERNAL antenna tuner (not just the internal tuner in your rig). I use an additional ATU-100EXT - works well enough. If you get this antenna, you'll be replacing the wire - unless you want an ok working 10 - 17 meter antenna.:(

Works well!
Bought this to get on the air initially as a stop gap and for pota but it’s been remarkably good!Took it apart, it’s very well made internally.Tunes with internal ATU on 991A on all bands, except 6m which is likely due to where I have it. That’s without even adding a counterpoise / Gnd wire.I might wonder it it needs strain relief on the wire connection to the box, but I guess we will see.For the price you cannot go wrong. Would get another no issue. Might get the longer 80 or 160 later.Signals from 991A have been all over the world.

Poor Quality Control
Product was delivered damaged. Unun in the plastic box also separated from the box and was loose.

Works well but...
The antenna works well - I was able to active a Parks on the Air location with it just running 2.5 watts QRP and also reached as far as Arkansas from Eastern PA, again QRP, using the antenna as a 2-story high sloper. But...The only thing holding the balun in the box were the two leads to the balun. A bunch of hot glue had been squirted around the inside of the box which wasn't even close to securing the coil in the box. I was able to secure it properly with a healthy application of hot glue.So a decent product at the price point but they really need to pay attention to their quality control.N3DTF
